They played big in the money quarter and Boston couldn't buy a basket for a large part of the fourth. We've received a lot of email about our post on the dangers hawks may post to us pups. Some say that hawks have no interest in dogs, and others say that there really is a danger! So we wanted to share some more info to hopefully keep it more safe for us pups out there.Basically what it boils down to is that dogs could potentially be prey for some hawks, especially if there are no other food sources around that appeal to them, like rodents, rabbits and small squirrels - and it depends upon the type of hawk and where they are located. After five games, two upset losses, many inexcusable non-calls against the Hawks, even more inexcusable calls against the Celtics, and many, many beers, I've come to the conclusion that NBA officials must have put a significant amount of money on the Atlanta Hawks. After an eye popping LeBron James basketball performance on Tuesday against Kevin Durant and the Sonics the Cavs moved on to Atlanta to face the Hawks. In what should have been a Cleveland victory turned out to be nothing more than a disappointing 81-90 loss even after LeBron James basketball afforded his team 31 points. Not one player can win a game but I bet LeBron James pictures a different outcome of last night's Hawk attack. My personal review:As a skater, I was really excited when I knew that this game was coming to my WII console and I decided to try it, then I realised that this game was even better than what I expected it to be! The gameplay is very well created and there are plenty of different moves to be trained and raised as much as possible. It appears that Hawks Hospital is almost empty for the time being (except Rene Bourque and Kevyn Adams, and possibly Jason Williams). With Martin Havlat and Patrick Sharp back in the lineup, the Hawks are looking deep up front and are a serious scoring threat still. The Canadiens have rid themselves of one headache today, trading Sergei Samsonov to the Hawks in exchange for Jassen Cullimore and Tony Salmelainen. Cullimore is a large (6'5", 244 pounds), reliable stay-at-home type of defenceman who won a Stanley Cup with the Lightning. He had 7 points in 65 games last season. Salmelainen is a 26 year-old Fin who was drafted 41st overall in 1999 by the Oilers. He had 17 points in 57 games with the Hawks last season and 55 points in 53 games the previous year in Helsinki. Renee Montgomery and Kalana Greene led the nation’s fifth ranked team to a 62-36 win over the University of Hartford Hawks. For the Huskies, Montgomery had 16 points and Greene added 14 to the cause.
