Our flight was supposed to be flying off at 1855 but we took off at 1920. Oh well, at least the delay wasn’t more than an hour. The meal on board was average because number one, I had meals on board JetStar Asia (Bangkok) and SIA and none of my vegetarian meals had any meat. Garuda Indonesia gave me some sort of meat, I believe it was mutton, for my evening meal. DD looked at it and had question marks on his face. I gave to him after I had finished the Maggie Mee.
The plane itself was tiny. I didn’t have much space and envied the Executive class. We had a free transfer from the airport to Hard Rock Hotel since I had booked a package from the tour agency. The car was comfy and I tried to look out of the window en route. Unfortunately, the streets weren’t brightly lit. The only lights that come out were from the buildings.

Vi har ätit sushi tillsammans med Petter bakom skivspelarna, skrattat till ståuppkomik signerad dom galet roliga snubbarna från AKS (unforgetable, det gör vi om), delat ut 1000 st mixtapeskivor och hinkat med kaptenen (Captain Morgan - så klart) till Adam Tenstas sköna liveshow på Hemma Hos.
Denna fredag avslutas kampanjen med en stor We Run Sthlm-fest på Hard Rock Cafe! Feta Dj:s varvas med tung liveshow!

Since Hard Rock Cafe is quite famous, I thought, why not do a check on how others have reviewed it in Bali. It’s received quite a number of positive reviews although some negative review stated the kids as runners. Another stated it as being the best place for families. Perhaps it is more suitable for families rather than a place for couples and singles.
While the rooms were average, they are quite clean. That’s important because I don’t want any cockroaches. It’s also a lively hotel. Looks like we won’t have to go too far for any entertainment.
In addition, it is located near the city. Looks like this hotel can be included in the list for consideration.

According to a Globe article yesterday, the company that owns the Hard Rock Cafe chain is looking at Boston as a favorable location for a Hard Rock Hotel. When Mayor Menino was asked for a comment he said "I stayed at one in Las Vegas. It was great. It was neat." How very eloquent. The interactive preview center for the Hard Rock Park opened to the public yesterday at the Park’s future site in Myrtle Beach, SC.
The preview center, dubbed The Hard Rock Park Backstage Tour, will be open through the end of 2007 at no cost to visitors. It’s is located in a 7,000-square-feet facility that’s divided into six interactive rooms that represent the various “rock environs” within the Park: All Access Entry Plaza, Rock & Roll Heaven, British Invasion, Lost in the 70’s, Born in the USA, and Cool Country. When you listen to rock ‘n’ roll, there are tons of bands that are such icons that if you haven’t listened to them, you just can’t claim to be a rock aficionado. Legends in there own time, these bands have influenced hundreds of other bands to get on stage and give it there all. Most of these bands don’t exist in their original form anymore and often don’t tour (except maybe the Rolling Stones as they will probably tour till they die) and so us classic rock lovers who are younger, often don’t get to appreciate these bands in there element: live on stage.
In the information age though, we at least can get a glimpse through all the concert footage that has been uploaded to the Internet. I’ve found a lot of great online videos of all sorts of bands, some good, some not so good, but all are worth watching if you’re a rock and roll fan.
