Happy Easter to all the Eastern Christians who celebrated it through this weekend and today Warning : The following is direct attack on the Pope Shounda III ,so if you are a devoted Egyptian Orthodox Christian , Please bear in your mind I respect your religion and Church but the following is not an attack against your religion Still I feel so sad and angry from what the Pope Shounda said and did this Easter from praying for Mubarak to have longer life !! and warning his people from listening to those vandals over the Internet who will be sent to hell !!?? For your information there were restricted orders to the Islamic and Christian religious men from the regime to warn and make the people scare from joining the 4th of May strike. For the Muslims this is something usual ,I know from
This Sunday 26 April, many of us will celebrate Easter. For Christians Easter celebrates the resurrection of Jesus. On Good Friday, Jesus Christ was executed by crucifixion. On the following Sunday, the disciples of Jesus went to his tomb to discover it was empty. But Easter is much more than a religious celebration and we [...]
Well the Greek Orthodox Easter has arrived, so it's time to take some days off. Days of grief that are followed by the resurrection of Christ, bringing along the message of love and hope for all. Happy easter to everybody. I will continue my blogging on 5th of May... Don't eat to much lamb now after all that fastening... (Greeks know what I'm talkin' about) C ya all soon.
We celebrated Easter again today. Red was sick last week so today was our rescheduled Easter. Funny how we were able to put off the holiday, we often do that at Christmas. So we can see both sides of the family and enjoy our own Christamas' we have it the weekend before or after. It is always so much fun, but for some reason we don't get together all that often, but we always have sooo much fun when we do. I think thats a new goal of mine, more family time. All the aunts & uncles and our kids.Anywhoo, someone brought a log cake from a Swedish bakery. OMG!! Thats going to do nothing for my weight loss plans But it was soooooo good. I mean so so so so so so good. They had the nerve to leave the leftovers. Part of me heard angels singing. Another part of me wanted to chuck it out the back
Paul and I went for an iced tea today at BC's, I still have not been able to shake being sick but thought that getting out for a while might do me good. We decided to walk to walk down the beach afterwards, it was packed - so many families were out enjoying a sunny Easter Sunday at the beach. We were not planning to stay out long but taking pictures and fresh air was making me feel a bit better so I asked Paul if he wanted to walk a bit further and he said ok. We were heading past the Phoenix and Robert happened to be out on his deck people watching and flagged us down. That was it we were officially hijacked and our plans for a short walk down the beach ended up into a 6 hour outing. We had a great time hanging out and talked for hours. Robert and Rene ordered Pedro's pizza and invited us t

Happy Easter everyone. As I write this post I am thinking

My family was in this weekend and my wife and I spent some
quality time together spoiling my grandchild Andrew. He will be 2 years old

As many of you know I am an avid fisherman and I am always

HAPPY EASTER TO ALL. Last 2 years, this photo was taken. Their first egg hunt in our not manicured garden. We were lucky to have a beautiful weather at that time. This Easter,We didn't have "the egg hunt" outside due to weather. With some luck, Our friends told Pia & Gab yesterday night that they ran into a bell (cloche) and found some parcels of giant eggs. In it says that they must be given to Julian, Gabriel & Sophia. The tale was so cute in french how they ran into the gifts. It doesnt sound right if i translate it in english.“Merci beaucoup, Ludivine et Yann. Vous etes prêt à être parent.Notre soirée se passe toujours bien, comme d'hab!”And 2 consecutive weekend seeing and going out with both of you, always been a great pleasure. We really have to do our part of visiting
Firstly, I must point out that I don't really celebrate Easter. (But for those of you who do, Happy Easter! Or Merry Ostara!) I do enjoy some of the activities associated with the holiday, such as egg decorating and gorging ones' self on overly-saccharine candy. One of the things that I really particularly like is the onslaught of bunny imagery. This fascination all started with Jen Tong's
Yo, I'm sorry man. I get too caught up in why we celebrate shit sometimes... I'm sorry to offend anyone but I'm not a religious dude but rather more spiritual. I do believe in knowing one's history. For those of you who just celebrate today with the kids and the Easter Bunny...
That's cool and all, but just do some research next time, aiiight?
I did it for you... Straight from Wikipedia too!

Happy Easter and Baby Dust all who are TTC. The easter egg is an ancient symbol of fertility. One of the first references to this is Semiramis (Easter) the Babylonian's goddess of Fertility. It was widely believed that an egg of wondrous size had fallen from heaven into the Euphrates River. From this marvelous egg - according to the ancient story - the Goddess Astarte (Easter) [Semiramis], was hatched. And so the egg came to symbolize the Goddess Easter. Most peoples through history have celebrated this time of the year as a time of great fertility, and to all our tubal reversal patients I extend our wishes that next year they can share the first Easter of a new baby.Omne vivum ex ovo - all life comes from an egg.More information on Fertility

Have you seen the Peeps? Warhol, people. Amy Winehouse. Go. (Thanks, Mom). The clothing item as basket grass went over very well. We also scored well with the edible, but not candy, selection: Cherry Pie Larabars, Kashi bars, fruit leather, goldfish, dried mango cut in strips and put in plastic eggs. Plus the health food store chocolate covered dried cherries, yogurt covered raisins, sundrops, earthballs. Then we had some real candy, but not much, and mostly chocolate. A couple of bubbles, some Dragonology dragons, the cute jump ropes from Target, and sundry other items, everything a big hit. A good time was had by all. (I say was, of course it's an all day affair). We opted not to go cough on all the people at church. Wrong kind of sharing.Pandora's Baroque & Chamber music station is th

Happy Easter to all who celebrate. Kind of weird having it this early, but I worked last night and when I woke up this afternoon, Zoe and Steve had cleaned the kitchen and made a leg of lamb roast with all the fixin's. What a nice day, although we are now buried in snow from Friday night's winter storm! I had gotten up early and blanketed the horses early Friday morning as the storm had started. By Saturday morning, Misty had torn her blanket off, including undoing the side buckles and left it laying in the paddock. We had a a good foot of it and only one working four wheel drive vehicle. So I could not make it in to work Friday night as we needed the four wheel drive to get down to Chicago and pick up Zoe from the airport. That was one hairy trip and the snow wasn't nearly as bad in Illi
Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt look so fake cute here! They had to steal the first kid they saw and took her out Easter egg hunting. No, actually the little girl is Spencer’s neice, Ava. These pictures really make me wanna puke.

It is Easter, but in my region it felt like Thanksgiving. I even had stuffing with a pork roast to further the illusion it was the November holiday and not the spring religious observance.

This weeks Islay nature report by Jeremy Hastings from Islay Birding: Sunday and a cold windy day brought a wee bit of rain later and Barnacles spreading even further afield looking for green patches that they missed earlier. With the days drawing out the grass gets more light, and therefore more growing time. The week progressed with bright morning and clear skies being blown form the north. On our return from running the Wildwood Wisdom Young Adventurers programme in Bowmore on Monday I took an image of the Barnies and other birds roosting. What colours!Barnacle Geese roosting at Loch IndaalThe air is fresh and folks much cheerier with thoughts of spring! Neighbours brought round their first Guinea Fowl eggs - delicious. We do not celebrate Easter anymore. One of the main reasons is because we have no one but ourselves to celebrate with. The ILs are always busy with their families or work, and we don't have anyone else to get together with. The same thing applies to Christmas, but we celebrate that. I don't know why we don't celebrate Easter anymore...I think around Spring we start getting busy with activities and just forget that Easter falls on a certain day (not to mention you never know when it is because the calendar is so wonky). For example, at work on Friday, some of the providers I spoke with wished me a happy Easter, and I had totally forgotten that it fell on this weekend in March as opposed to in April, like we're used to it being in.So I started wondering what we can do to start our own tradit
Hope you all are having a happy and Blessed Easter as we are here. I stayed up late last night putting together their Easter Baskets which were actually Sand pails and shovels that they can also take to the beach. Each child was also given one stuffed animal either bunnies or ducks. They awoke this morning like little children on Christmas morning. After having breakfast they all headed outside for our annual Easter Egg Hunt. Hoping for a peaceful quiet afternoon but I doubt it...not with all the sugar I gave them.
Just because it's Easter doesn't mean there is no time for a black female empress to humiliate a piece of shit male. Don't forget your fucking place and accept your humiliation hoebag! Hahahaha. Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead... 1 Peter 1:3 Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him. The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God. In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus. Romans 6:8-11 God bless you on this holiest of days. He is risen!

I thought I would share with you this wonderful Easter message that was posted on MikeHuckabee.com:An Easter Messageby Mike HuckabeeThe story of Jesus' death, burial and resurrection has deep meaning to Christians for a variety of reasons. First and foremost, it is the defining moment of the Christian faith. But for the resurrection, Christianity would be nothing more than a legend, not unlike the stories from Greek or Roman mythology. As the Apostle Paul notes in I Corinthians 15:17-18, "And if Christ be not raised, your faith is in vain; ye are yet in your sins. Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished." Indeed, our very hope of eternal life depends upon the resurrection of Christ!Beyond this, however, the resurrection is the supreme reminder that the biggest victori

What does Easter Means to You? Easter, also called Pascha, is the most important religious feast in the Christian liturgical year. It celebrates the resurrection of Jesus, which Christians believe occurred on the third day after his crucifixion around AD 33. Many non-religious cultural elements have become part of the holiday, and those aspects are often celebrated by many Christians and non-Christians alike.Easter also refers to the season of the church year called Eastertide or the Easter Season. Traditionally the Easter Season lasted for the forty days from Easter Day until Ascension Day but now officially lasts for the fifty days until Pentecost. The first week of the Easter Season is known as Easter Week or the Octave of Easter.Source(Wiki Eastern Day)I will be joining a group of my

Flower of the MonthJonquilGemstone of the Month: BloodstoneToday is a happy and special day indeed for all followers of the Christian faith. In fact it is the most important day in the Christian calendar. It is the day when the resurrection of Jesus Christ is celebrated. The celebration of Easter however is a movable feast and the actual timing of the festival was decided at the council of Nicea in 325AD. It was decided that Easter would be celebrated on the first Sunday after the first full moon on or after the vernal equinox. Consequently Easter Sunday can arrive as early as March 22nd or as late as April 25th.The celebration of Easter had a pre-Christian origin which was the festival in honour of Eostre, the Teutonic dawn goddess, also known as the spring goddess and goddess of fertility

Today is the resurrection of Jesus Christ, as a Christian we celebrate it with great joy welcoming Jesus Christ back in our life again. Churches today hold Easter masses and dawn processions in observance the first meeting of Jesus and the Blessed Mary. And as a Christian, early in the morning I woke up at 3:00am my boy friend, his sister and cousin Ann is with me we join the procession at the church. The procession starts at 4:00am, many Christians join and observe over the risen Christ. In the procession there are many cute little angels singing “Alleluia Alleluia” and one of the angels lift the veil of Blessed Mary covering to her face to see her Risen Son for the first time, since His crucifixion on Good Friday. In the observance of Easter Sunday many malls also have their Eas

Happy Easterto all our Hawaii blog visitors, the ones on the Mainland, still dreaming of their Hawaii vacation, and the lucky ones who are enjoying their Maitai on a warm white sand beach on the Hawaiian Islands right now! Having an Easter vacation in Hawaii means you belong to the privileged folks who were able to get away for a week from the cold or rainy weather on the Mainland. As we all know, spring has not delivered the warm sunny weather everywhere yet. When you are staying at one of our our big Hawaii beach resorts, you will be offered an excellent Easter brunch at a restaurant location where you can overlook the ocean.
