      I called my babysister today about some personal news of mine, and in turn, she gave me some wonderful news!  She and her husband of 12 yrs have reconciled!  I was so excited, I nearly jumped up and down!  This was the second time, they had separated and the longest time apart. Somehow over night I managed to lose 2 whole pounds! You would have thought that maybe I had got my hands on some Shackleaf Lettuce seeing as how I live in the Great White North. I can assure you that it is not true. My backyard is still frozen solid with permafrost so any excavations are out of the question. I think that it has more to do with being ill and having very little appetite. My total weight loss from starting at the beginning of February is drum roll 10 pounds! Just imagine...I have lost the equivalent of a small turkey. I shall be very careful during the next week to make sure I maintain the weight loss. This should not be too hard as I am feeling somewhat better and can start doing a bit of exercise again.

Well, yesterday, I sat for exam of a subject I had little hope to manage to. However, something's changed, beyond my expectation... I surely pass, albeit not very good points expected. Why too confident?? It's secret :p. From the good mood, I've spent a night entertaining myself by spinning out with a friend of mine :o) By the way, I just brought a music hall home by possessing a headphone Philips, another stuff to be listed in my lifetools. It’s a little past 1:30 as I sit down to write this. I’m tired. I work up tired this morning. I’m working a 3pm to close shift today. We’re closing at 10pm, which means we’ll get out at 11 at the earliest and may be in there as late as midnight if its messy. I’m hoping that people will have so much to do at home to get ready for thanksgiving tomorrow that it won’t be busy at all. My husband's Paid Medical Leave had been approved. Definitely, he will get no overtime pay or have no part time job on this leave, but he can still get the regular monthly salary, for three months on his permanent job. But, he will be a good helper for me, for the first three months for our upcoming baby. About my OB-GYN provider, I found a new place called Birthcare, with the same midwife who delivered my first born. During this second pregnancy, I don't have any health problem complications. I think, it's not a big deal that I've moved to a new OB-GYN provider. So far, my last appointment went well. My midwife asked if I wanted to have an Epidural Injections. I said yes! Whew, if you only knew the pain! Another good news, all hospital bills are one hundred percent (100%) covered with hubby's insurance. FYI...the photo on the right is by one by one of my favorite photographers, Berenice Abbott. It's called "Brooklyn Bridge, Water, and Dock Streets," and was taken in 1936.Thanks to Polly and Chica for their good wishes for my photography final. Although I studied, I haven't taken a final in decades and I never took a multiple choice exam when I was in college. Also, since the technical side of photography was so new to me, there was a tremendous amount of information to learn and I was a bit overwhelmed by the exam.As I sat down to take it, I got that feeling in my stomach that I used to have in my geometry classes in high school (the last time I took math). As a "math challenged" person, it wasn't the most pleasant feeling either.Still, once the exam was over, I felt great. Our very last task was to go through all our slides (or digital images) and pick the top 20 for our final project. When I looked back at how far I'd come in only eight weeks, it was quite gratifying!Actual

Happy day-after-a-federal-holiday! I have a hard time coming back to the ol' grind, but thank goodness we have a few weeks in between this holiday and the next one. well, this has been a week of surprises... good, bad, and in-between... but today held the best news i've received since arriving in korea... my co-teacher has been transferred to a different school!!!! that means i have a new co-teacher - jo - the awesomest teacher at my school.i sit next to her and she's already been so helpful through all the jay crap. this is a nice turn of events. i also found out that i'll be at my regular middle school on monday, tuesday and wednesdays and going to sino middle school on thursdays and fridays. this is also a good thing since it is in walking distance to my house. i was worried they were going to start sending me to a school with no bus service that i would have to walk over an hour to get to... but no! they sent me to the closer one. i've heard it's one of the worst schools in gimhae, but if i can survive the one i'm at now, i think i can survive anything!things really are looking up. i'm on my way to go swimming with emma... and i got two
