Sadly, this is all I can give you while I'm sick. Halls has a new line of Halls Naturals. We've tried the Sunshine Citrus and the Honey-Lemon Chamomile and we love them. Aside from being all natural (meaning no food coloring for me), I think they taste better than the original Halls menthols, which I think are gross. They have been effectively soothing my throat which is the point, so thumbs up from Foodmayhem!

Snowflakes have been falling from the cold sky. Christmas music playing. Charlie Brown's adorable tree on the screen. Thoughts of the perfect gift for those I love swirling around in my head.
You'd think with all of this I'd be knee-deep in Christmas spirit. That's hard to do this year. I have a beautiful tree. But it still sits in a bucket on my front porch, where my sister and her husband left
It’s tradition: the first full weekend in December, one of my best friends and her family and I all troop out into the fields of Western Pennsylvania in quest for the perfect Christmas tree. This year was no exception.Me, I have a particular penchant for a blue spruce. And with such choice at the tree farm, it wasn’t long before an excellent specimen was found-- tall, not so wide I won’t be able to walk through my livingroom, and mmmm.... pine scented! (That’s me below posing with the tree and looking a bit snow-blind.)It was a sloppy, slushy day, so I was really glad I wore my Wellies!..Here’s my friend’s little brother kindly doing the honors with the saw...I’d tried my hand at this myself a year or two, but Josh is a whiz with the saw! In just a moment, the tree was cut an
This week's column...Because I’m now the only adult in my home, I’m frequently outnumbered on things like food preferences and movie picks. That’s why on the 26th of November Christmas decorating commenced at the Belknap house. Now I’m not a Type A personality. In fact, I’m more like Type C, if there is such a thing. My house is not meticulous, Mt. Laundry looms in my basement, and my children believe cooking simply requires a can opener and microwave. So you’d think I’d be easy-going when it comes to Christmas decorating. Not so much.I’m not sure if it’s because the majority of our decorations are breakable or I’m just a grinch, but as soon as I popped the seal on our Christmas tubs I became Martha Stewart preparing for a party at the compound. I was barking orders, telling children to stop touching things, and finally made everyone sit at my feet to watch me place everything “just so.” Yes, someone should nominate me for the Christmas Spirit award. When we set

Story: Just when Shrek thought he could finally sit back, relax and enjoy his happily ever after with his new family, the most joyous of all holidays arrives. It’s Christmas Eve, and everyone is filled with holiday cheer, except for Shrek. He isn’t exactly the picture of yuletide joy, but for the sake of Fiona and the kids, he tries to get into the spirit of things as only an ogre can. Unfortunately, everyone seems to have their own ideas about what Christmas is all about, so when Donkey, Puss In Boots, Gingy and the whole gang try to join in on the fun, Shrek’s plans for a cozy family celebration end up spiraling into one truly unforgettable
Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy, Antonio Banderas and Cameron Diaz all reunite for a Christmas special, "Shrek the Halls," starring the world's most popular ogre.Diaz, who gives her voice to Princess Fiona, recently told the Associated Press that the special is "just wonderful," and won't be disappointing die-hard "Shrek" fanatics."The humor is there, and the beauty is there, and the message is there," says Diaz. The special follows Shrek (Mike Myers), who prepares for a Christmas Eve celebration with his wife Fiona and their children.Everything is going well until a few uninvited -- but favourite -- guests like Donkey (Eddie Murphy), Puss in Boots (Antonio Banderas), and the Gingerbread man stop by. When Shrek's carefully laid plans go awry, he turns into a green-faced scrooge. But when all is said and done, Shrek learns the value of Christmas, and extends his family to include his rag-tag circle of friends.According to Diaz, "Shrek the Halls&quo
Shrek, star of three animated blockbusters, now has his own Christmas special, "Shrek the Halls," which debuts Wednesday on ABC-TV.Cameron Diaz, who reprises her voice role as Princess Fiona, hopes the story of the grumpy-yet-lovable green ogre's first Christmas with family and friends will become a holiday tradition."It's just wonderful to see how they celebrate their Christmas and what it means to them," the 35-year-old actress told The Associated Press in a recent phone interview. We speak with Developers, Sellers, and Buyers every day, and it’s clear that the cleanliness of common areas is high on the priority list. Here’s how our conversation went with Beacon Halls:
The Boston Condo Blog: Tell us a little bit about Beacon Halls Cleaning Service?
Beacon Halls Cleaning Service: When we started Beacon Halls, we really saw a need for a conscientious full-service cleaning company in the metro Boston area. With a property management background, we were often disappointed with the reliability and customer service from other cleaning services. We apply our business and management skills and provide a truly reliable professional cleaning staff with guaranteed results.

The hype over the upcoming release of the last Harry Potter book is all fun, but a Florida State University grad student is taking an academic approach to the popular series.
Colette Drouillard is studying how author J.K. Rowling's series has influenced youngsters' desire to read. She's talking to readers who are now 19 to 23, and have read all the books, starting with the first volume in the late 90s.
FSU professor Eliza T. Dresang notes there have been over 200 academic studies on Harry Potter, but little research has focused on what motivates youngsters to read the books so religiously.
“It’s a unique opportunity to speak with readers who are now young adults and ask them to go back and try to recall when you were 9 and read the book the first time, why did you feel motivated to read Book 2, and what motivated you to continue reading,” Drouillard said.
Having applied for first year accommodation in the halls of residences, I’ve begun reminiscing about the last time I lived in halls 3 years ago. Back then I was a young, impressionable and bright-eyed teenager. There were a couple of finalists also in the halls, who were noticeably less energetic. Granted, this was right at the beginning of the first year with many of us young 18yr olds living away from home for the first time.I have been considering how I will feel, being one of those older students. I don’t want to be kept up till 5am with a 9am start just because there are no parents around. I don’t do 3am fire alarms. Some nights I don’t feel like drinking, let alone getting wasted. Yet this from experience is likely to be the case. I am also a little concerned for the communal kitchen spaces. If it’s anything like the halls I knew, then anything in cupboards or fridges shall be up for grabs. I don’t do food sharing, and I don’t pay to feed others.I’m not entirely s
Well of course he is not actually going to be doing it personally, but the Clinton Global Initiative, part of the Clinton Foundation are holding a summit in New York, where officials from cities such as Cities include New York, Chicago, Houston, Toronto, Mexico City, London, Berlin and Tokyo, Rome; Karachi, Pakistan; Seoul, South Korea; Bangkok, Thailand; Melbourne, Australia; Sao Paulo, Brazil; and Johannesburg, South Africa. Have been invited to bring along a carrier bag in order for them take a share of the one billion dollars that has been put up by the international banks.
The idea is that these guys will go back to their city halls and turn them into eco friendly places, which in the long term will save them money and ultimately save on resources.
Jobs to do, are replacing the old heating and cooling systems, lighting, windows and paint work, clearly different locations would need a different type of makeover to suit their climate, but it has to be a good idea.

At the C40 Summit earlier today, former president Bill Clinton announced that the Clinton Foundation is going to give a billion dollars (yes, you read that correctly!) to sixteen city halls around the globe so they can “go green.”
At the summit, Clinton said “if all buildings were as efficient as they could be, we’d be saving an enormous amount of energy and significantly reducing carbon emissions. Also, we’d be saving a ton of money.”Wired writes
The planned projects include replacing heating, cooling and lighting systems with energy-efficient networks; making roofs white or reflective to deflect more of the sun’s heat; sealing windows and installing new models that let more light in and keep the elements out; and setting up sensors to control more efficient use of lights and air conditioning.
Cities getting the green update include New York, Chicago, Houston, Toronto, Mexico City, London, Berlin and Tokyo, Rome; Karachi, Pakistan; Seoul,

UPDATE: Fixed glitch with spellcheck. You absolutely must check out this on the New Feminists. This is precisely the kind of real work the ivory tower gang in the west can't stand. And true to form, they blackballed some of these women because they have dared question the premises held by the "intellectual elite". And labeled them racist and fascist to boot. Very nice.I cannot tell you how excited I have been to hear all of these women's vocal dissent. They express the kind of compassion the old school feminist hasn't felt in decades. The kind of compassion that made feminism a force to be reckoned with. The kind that made it effective because arguing against it felt absurd. Listen well all you university-bound, out-of-touch, socialist and separatist wannabe '60s hold-overs! This is what it's supposed to look like! This is not splitting hairs over the nuances of semantics and semiotics! This is real! This is feminism! It's about time some real thinkers emerged and cast off the shac
Nearly there. One more advent door to open after this one.I hope this little bit of frippery has brought some pleasure and amusement. The gang is here which is really lovely. The house is full, new music is blaring out, we are off to the woods to deck the halls with holly and ivy, yew and mistletoe.

"The Sethekk Halls are one of the wings of Auchindoun in the Terokkar Forest."The intent of this guide is to give quick directions to people entering a World of Warcraft battleground (BG) for the first time. The Halls are the second most difficult instance in Auchindoun and and are filled with the odd birdlike creatures called the Arakkoa that look like escapees from the Dark Crystal movie. Within five minutes, you should have enough information to follow what's going on and make significant contributions to your team. Sethekk Halls are meant for players level 67 through 70, however if the entire group is at the low range of this you are very likely to have issues completing the instance. There are additional resources to the BG (see the links at the end of this guide), but I nev
