Apparently a few of the Fuel Girls (The automotive world’s SuicideGirls) are going to accompany Team Fuel and their Mansory tuned Bentley Continental GT during this year’s Gumball 3000. Though I’m assuming they’re there to entertain everyone, a disastrous distraction is what will most likely occur as other drivers do anything they can to keep up with the hottie filled flier.

Back in 2004 (yes, we realize this is technically old news, but Candy Addict wasn’t around in 2004, so it’s new to us), Arizona-based artist Heidi Heisse created a Hummer covered in gumballs. Well, it’s not really a Hummer, it’s just in the shape of a Hummer. The piece, entitled Sugar-Coated, is meant as a social commentary. The description on her website states:
“This life-sized gum-ball covered HumVee comments on pop culture and reminds us of soldiers handing candy to children in far-flung countries at war with us.”
Pretty deep stuff for gumballs, if you ask me.

Most of you have heard about Gumball somewhere down the line. It’s the world renowned yet very controversial celebrity rally. Well guess what??? This one just got more controversial!!!
Flat tires, burnt or wrecked cars, speeding tickets and police chases are just the norm. Hit-and-run, now this is something new. Just to make matters worse, there were fatalities.
Well the accident took place in Macedonia where two Britons, Nick Morley and Matthew McConville were driving an ultra high performance Porsche 911 near the town of Struga, when they drove on the wrong side of the road and boooom, struck a Volkswagen Golf. Unfortunately for Margarita Chepulyoski, she was left fighting for her life, whereas her husband, Vladimir Chepulyoski, died on the way to hospital as a result of a heart attack. Logically, the next step would be to call the police and ambulance. But for those folks, getting into another car and getting the hell out of there was more important.

Ieri è partita da Londra l’edizione 2007 della Gumball 3000, la coast-to-coast più amata nel mondo.I partecipanti sono ben 120 che cercheranno con le loro supercar cercheranno di coprire gli oltre 5000 Km del tragitto in meno di otto giorni: via terra fino a Francoforte e sui aerei cargo fino ad Istanbul per poi tornare indietro attraversando Grecia, Albania e Germania.
