Guilty Gear X2 #Reload and The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning will be added to Xbox Originals this month. The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning and Guilty Gear X2 #Reload make their way to the 360 recycle bin, aka “Xbox Originals,” June 16. Its a questionable set to release as neither game was popular, there seems to be no theme and both lack any real relevance today.
Although, GGX2 did take its heavy metal-inspired [...]

My personal review and some payers' thoughts:Do you love fighting games such as this? =)Unexpected, fun-packed, and very fluent. guilty gear XX accent core is something that can be pick-up easily without any trouble. from beginners to experts, my friend played for about 30mins for the first time and whooped by butt just like that... well i annihilated him alot, but still. it is not stressful and well packaged from Wii to us.from new style moves to destroying opponents to pretty designs and new features, there is something that can say that this game is well fitted for the Wii. even the add new characters give more spice and flavour to the table as you play through 20 deadly rivals.Just enjoy! =DYou can download it here:
2D fighting games may not be as popular as they used to be, but Arc System Works' Guilty Gear series has continued to chug along over the years. The newest edition in the series is Guilty Gear XX Accent Core, and just in case the title didn't make it obvious, this is the latest edition in a long-running series with a lot of different features that have evolved over time. Even so, casual fighting-game fans should be able to get into the game rather easily. It isn't hard to get started dishing out big, long combination attacks by hammering away on various buttons. But hardcore Guilty Gear fans will get the most out of the new game because it has a few new features that make higher-level play a bit more interesting. Just make sure you have either a Classic or GameCube controller handy, becau
Everyone's favorite gender confused fighter Bridget (Guilty Gear Accent Core) is getting a new PVC model from Max Factory. The model is set to be released March 2008 for around 6,800 yen. Dengeki Online has posted a series of images of the 1/7th scale model, so for those interested in getting a few more additional shots of Bridget, you can see them here.I'm not quite sure if Bridget would fit well in my personal collection of Vic Vipers and Street Fighters, but I know that he would definitely find a home on the shelves of the more die-hard fans of the series. Plus, the model would always make for an interesting conversational piece, should you choose to get into Bridget's back story with anyone visiting your home.
Guilty Gear Accent Core's release in Japan for the Playstation 2 was a bit less than idea for Arc System Works. Though the game was not an absolutely horrible port, there were enough bugs and errors in the game that the company formally issued an apology for the disappointment of their fans. Unsurprisingly, they did mention that they would be looking at the potential of releasing a new version of the game that would include the bug fixes that the American version of Accent Core received in its translation.Arc System Works looks like they've finally put some solid plans in the works to get a new version of Accent Core into the hands of Japanese gamers. I haven't found any press release or information on the game yet, but over at Play-Asia.com, a listing for Guilty Gear Accent Core Plus for the Playstation 2 has been uploaded with a pending release date of March 2008.With no solid details explaining the changes in this version of the game, I can only speculate that Arc System Works
THE BEST FIGHTING GAME EVER Info: Guilty Gear X2 is a simple, fun 2-D fighting game with quirky characters and a variety of options that allow for a customized gaming experience. A perfect blend of old-school 2-D gameplay (think Street Fighter) and responsive controls makes it very easy to get started. You get to control a host of oddball characters (20 different fighters are unlocked at the start) who all have detailed profiles and continually animate during the game. Some characters come with guest characters that make appearances during or after the fight. Backgrounds contain detailed animations and changes in weather. A decent selection of generic fighting-game music rounds out the title.GGX2 offers nine different game modes: arcade, Medal Gauge, vs. 2P, vs. CPU, training, survival, mission, story, and gallery. All modes are available at the beginning of the game. Story mode adds anime-style background and unlockable cinemas that can be saved to a memory card. Mission mode offer
This December, Max Factory is planning on releasing an I-No figure in Japan. The Guilty Gear seductress is modeled incredibly well and would definitely fit in with other quality sculpts. It is a bit revealing though, so it isn't really a piece that would fit on my desk or my mantel, but I'm sure others will love it...For more information about the model check out the Hobby Stock website.
Arc System Works launched a small teaser site for their upcoming Guilty Gear II Overture release for the Xbox 360. The site can be found here for those interested. I will warn everyone though that outside of the above image, there is nothing of interest currently on the website. Arc System Works is sure to remind us of the Tokyo Game Show coming up in late September though, so all eyes need to focus on September 20th - 23rd if you are interested in more information about Guilty Gear II.
A few new details about Guilty Gear II Overture have been revealed from various sources this past week. The bizarre action, fighting game, RTS hybrid does appear to be developing nicely. Despite any personal feelings I have about the "turn" the series has taken, I am intrigued with what the designers have in store for Guilty Gear fans. The first thing to note is that despite being called Guilty Gear II: Overture, the story of the game is actually a prequel to the first Guilty Gear title. The developers are using the rather rich background story of the Holy War fought between the Gears and the Humans as its primary source of influence for Overture's battles. With the number of unanswered questions left in the Guilty Gear storyline, it's going to be interesting to see how the design team handles the series beginnings. The gameplay is where things get really interesting. Basically, each battle is fought as a commander during the Holy War. Using your abilities to create and summon se
GamerCafe recently posted a small update that has brought to my attention a new PDF file on the official Arc System Works home page. It seems that the current build of Guilty Gear Accent Core for the PS2 is officially discontinued with no further production planned. What this means for current inventory on shelves, I don't know, but I assume that it will be sold through since there is no mention of a recall.Fans of the series are probably aware of some of the issues present in the game that I reported on earlier. After Arc System Works apologized for the title and promised better results in the future, speculation went wild that they could be working on an update to the game. Though the PDF doesn't mention the possiblity of a bug fix for the game, it also doesn't explicitly rule it out either. It does seem that Guilty Gear Accent Core for the Wii may indeed be the "best" version of the game for home console buyers.Unfortunately, there is no word yet on how this is going to aff
This week's Famitsu has definitely been interesting to say the least. Not only did we get the first screens of Basara X, we also are treated to a surprising revelation that we are also going to be seeing Guilty Gear II very soon. The scans are a bit troubling though, because for the first true sequel to Guilty Gear, the 2D fighting series is going to be making the jump into a 3D action, fighting, real time strategy hybrid. Dynasty Warriors with Guilty Gear characters? ...I'm afraid so.The game will be featuring Sol as the primary character, with an appearance that is a far cry from the last time we saw him. It is currently around 80% complete and will be released on the Xbox 360 platform. I'm wondering if this is the precursor to a Guilty Gear EX series...
The Aksys crew was only getting started with their announcement of a US translation of Guilty Gear Accent Core earlier today. Not only did they also state that they were going to be addressing some of the bugs in the Japanese Playstation 2 version of the game, but they have also thrown in their support of the competitive Guilty Gear fighting game scene. Aksys Games is officially sponsoring a Guilty Gear Accent Core tournament (using the Japanese version of the game) to be held on July 1st at the Anime Expo in Long Beach California. Full details are below, but first I thought you'd all like to see the official flyer for the tournament that was posted on the Aksys forums.Registration: Friday and Saturday, June 29-30, 2007Entry Fee: NoneTournament Date: Sunday, July 1, 2007 (1 PM – 5 PM)Format:Depending on the number of registrants, it will likely be one of the following:* Singles, Double Elimination, 3/5 Rounds, 1 Match* Singles, Double Elimination, 2/3 Rounds, 1 Match* Singles, Si
This can be either a blessing or a curse... Guilty Gear Accent Core has been announced for a North American release by publishers Aksys. Of course, there are issues with the Japanese version of Accent Core, which makes me wonder if any of those are going to be touched up at all before it hits stateside. My internal meter says "no", but we can always hope... If recent reports are to be believed from Neo-Arcadia.com, the home release of Guilty Gear Accent Core is fraught with a number of errors and bugs that were not present in the original Naomi release. It seems as though the differences are bad enough that a Japanese blog has set up an ongoing list of all the errors that people have experienced while playing the game. You can visit the blog here.I haven't had a chance to play my version of the game yet (the postman dropped it onto my doorstep only yesterday), but it does seem that those people who were expecting an arcade perfect conversion are going to be deeply disappointed. I'm working on getting an english translation of all the bugs and errors, and when that is complete I'll post it up as well.
No new updates, unfortunately, but the box art for Guilty Gear Accent Core for the Nintendo Wii was listed on Rakuten. The game's pricing is identical to the PS2 version of the game. Guilty Gear Accent Core can be preordered for the Nintendo Wii by visiting Play-Asia.com.
When Gamefly updated their listings and included a page for Guilty Gear Accent Core for the Nintendo Wii, a lot of people have waited patiently for an independent verification that the game was currently planned for Nintendo's new console. Arc System Works, developers of the series, only responded to requests for a confirmation with the claim that they did not know where Gamefly received their information. Though that was a long way from the answer that fans wanted, it did fuel the speculation engine long enough that media outlets have been reporting on this rumor for months now.But after all the rumors, it seems that we can finally confirm it with authority. Famitsu has a listing for Guilty Gear Accent Core for the Wii in its coming soon section in its latest magazine. The game is scheduled for release on July 26th in Japan (with no word on an American release, despite Gamefly's listing of July 30th in America). The Playstation 2 version of the game is set to ship on May 31st in
Arc System Works have released a new trailer for the latest installment of the Guilty Gear series for home consoles, Guilty Gear Accent Core, on the official website for the game. To see the other two trailers released by Arc for the game, visit http://www.guiltygearx.com/.
When there's a will, there's a way...An inspired group of Guilty Gear fans on the Dustloop forums have unconvered a Japanese patch that allows for online battles and a custom color edit mode for the Japanese version of Guilty Gear XX #R. Don't expect a lag-free fighting system(yet), but the added online features are a great addition to an already solid title. For details on the patch and the exact process to get it to work, please visit the Dustloop forums. Aside from a small thread of US players devoted to match finding, there is also a link to a lobby that can be used to meet other English speaking players for quick pick up matches. In other random Guilty Gear news, Accent Core for the PS2 has had its release date officially confirmed. On May 31st, the game is scheduled to ship in Japan. The game is currently available for preorder at Play.Asia.
