"Is that Berrian? I think he's triple-covered. You know what? Fuck it. I'm throwing it downfield. Yeah, I see Jones open on the flank. But fuck that. Dumpoff passes are for faggots. I'm fucking Sexy Rexy Grossman. I can get that ball in there. And, even if I can't, I bet I'll be able to pull it off the next go round. I like throwing the ball long. It makes my dick hard. What's that? I should throw
Well I have just finished my trip down to Santa Monica to learn more about DFA (Dimensional Fund Advisors), and I have lots to share. While their public website is okay, it really doesn’t give you a sense of what DFA is (in my opinion). As such, I’ll be writing about 30 posts or so [...]
Out of necessity, coach Lovie Smith has taken the Chicago Bears back in time.
The years were 2004 and 2005. The Bears were a young team, theoretically on the rise. Their core was a young defense, featuring Brian Urlacher, Charles Tillman, Alex Brown, Tommie Harris and others.
"We were last in the division and we were all the afterthought," Smith said. "This camp is definitely like 2005, or you
Stefan Grossmann, az 1945. április 16-án Brooklynban született amerikai gitáros 1963-ban az Even Dozen Jug Band megalapítójaként vált ismertté. A számok:01. Lovie Smith must see something I don't see. How the Bears can give Rex Grossman a one year contract extension is beyond me because ever since he has been the starter for the Chicago Bears, Grossman has been extremely inconsistent. He will have days that he looks like an elite quarterback in the league throwing for 3 or 4 touchdowns with over a 100 point quarterback rating. Then there are other games that he only completes 3 or 4 passes while throwing a couple interceptions and has a quarterback rating under 10. Two years ago he somehow lead the Bears to Super Bowl, excuse me the Bears defense lead the Bears to the Super Bowl while it seemed like Grossman did everything he could to screw it up for the Bears. If the Bears have a reliable quarterback I almost would be willing to say the Bears
Due to various events, including my choice not to interrupt the series of posts on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, I did not respond at the time to David Grossman's refusal to shake Premier Olmert's hand while accepting the EMET Prize.Grossman is one of Israel's most prominent authors, frequently listed as one of the top-five authors of Israel. He's both critically acclaimed as well as a best-seller. The Emet Prize is one of Israel's most prestigious prizes. Though not as long-standing as the Israel Prize, in the few years it has been awarded it gained a reputation due to the sum of the prize as well as the fact that it is sponsored by the Prime-Minister's office.David Grossman is worthy of the prize, as he is already today a suitable candidate to the Israel Prize. However, one cannot ignore the fact that he received the prize in the year following the tragic death of his son in the Second Lebanon War. This is stressed by the fact that the brief bio on the prize website mention
Little six year old Ryan O'Conner of Skokie, Illinois spends most of his days hooked up to a series of tubes and machines. He has spent the past seventeen months living in room 221 at Children's Memorial Hospital, staring out the window, suffering silently in indescribable pain.
Ryan O'Connor is suffering from a rare form of brain cancer.
His only respite comes, ironically, during his most painfully grueling respiratory rehab sessions on Sundays in the fall. That's when Ryan gets to listen to his beloved Chicago Bears on the radio. And this past Sunday, Ryan got the gift of a lifetime.
Before the game, The Make-it-Happen Foundation arranged for a phone call from Ryan's favorite Chicago Bear, QB Rex Grossman. He was so excited, he finally spoke for the first time in over a year.
"Throw an interception for me, Rex, and I promise I'll get better."
Grossman went out and lived up to his end of that promise on Sunday. He not only threw an interception

By Andrew Seligman, The Associated Press LAKE FOREST, Ill. — The Chicago Bears have seen enough of Rex Grossman. Now it’s Brian Griese’s turn. The much anticipated quarterback change became official Wednesday when the defending NFC champions announced Griese would start this week at Detroit. At 1-2 and with the league’s 30th-ranked offense, something needed to change for the Bears. So they turned to Griese, a Pro Bowl pick with Denver in 2000. “I’m excited for Brian,” said head coach Lovie more…
In the most obvious move of the year, the Chicago Bears are going to try and save their season, and they are not going to allow it to be in the hands of now former starter Rex Grossman. Coach Lovie Smith, realizing that at 1-2 the wheels could come off real quick, is finally making a move to sit Grossman, and according to NFL Network will give the ball to former Broncos, Dolphins and even Bucs starter Brian Griese Sunday when the Bears battle the Lions at Ford Field.
Grossman in a word in 2007 has been one thing - awful. He has generated next to no offense for the Bears, and worse yet, has put the defense in tough positions with turnovers and boneheaded mistakes that can kill a teams confidence. The Bears were expected to be one of the top 2-3 teams in the NFC in 2007, but with Grossman, they appeared to be a team that would be lucky to finish than 8-8.
The Bears have given Grossman more then enough time to mature into a solid NFL quarterback, and while he has shown flashes, the tea

CHICAGO (AP) — Rex Grossman showed his good and bad sides. He fumbled another snap and had an interception returned 52 yards for a touchdown. But along with the mistakes came the moments of brilliance that have teased the Chicago Bears the past few seasons. Grossman played the first half and passed for 211 yards and two touchdowns, and the defending NFC champions held off the San Francisco 49ers 31-28 in a preseason game on Saturday night. GAME REPORT: Chicago 31, San Francisco 28 more…
Michael Rummel is a man of his word. Six months ago the Lake Forest, Illinois mayor lost a Super Bowl bet with the mayor of Terre Haute, Indiana. He finally paid up this week, donning a blue Peyton Manning jersey and making an appearance at Colts training camp. “I’m the loser,” Rummel said. Well, that sums it up pretty well.
While Rummel’s appearance seemed like all fun and games, there is an underlying problem with these kinds of bets. Every year the mayors from the territory of the underdog are forced into a losing proposition. They can’t show a lack of confidence in their team by betting with the spread or a money line, and so they have to take bad odds by only betting on the winner.
It doesn’t matter that it’s just a friendly bet, these men shouldn’t have to do that. Hopefully someday there will be a brave mayor who won’t blindly support the 16 point hometown underdog without demanding that the friendly wager include th

Is there any reason to blame Grossman for his comments? He's been the recipient of some less-than-flattering commentary from media and fans alike. Certainly, he has had his ups and downs during the course of the season. Unfortunately, the media puts more of his "downs" in print and forgets to mention his "ups."Cut the kid some slack; it's gotta suck to wake up every morning and read in the local Chicago papers that you're terrible. Not that he hasn't had terrible games, but let's give him credit when he does perform at a phenomenal level.
Sorry about the lateness of today's update. Despite my best efforts, there are times when I simply can't adjust the ol' schedule, and today was one of those days. I know my brother speaks for the masses when he told me how upset he was with the lack of content today. So I'll make it up to you. I must say, the readers are really coming through with some quality links. Must be that standing, weekly mystery prize that will be sent to a random reader who sends a link I use. What will it be? Who will get it? Why don't you move on to today's news?MLB:Barry Bonds reportedly failed an amphetamines test last year. Of course, he quickly tied Mark Sweeney to the railroad tracks in his attempt to deflect blame. How'd you like that one? Tied to the railroad tracks? Isn't it better than "Thrown under the bus"? Fox Sports gives us an update of all the trade rumors in MLB, including all the trades the Pirates refuse to make. They really know how to cultivate off-season interest. Not only did Bi
All of the talk heading into the Seahawks-Bears game was about the play of Rex Grossman. As you know by now, Rex Grossman either plays like a mixture of John Elway and Joe Montana, or he plays like Mr. Bojangles right there. And yeah, Mr. Bojangles is not really good at doing the forward pass. But Rexy stepped up today. He went 21-38, with a touchdown and 1 interception. In overtime, when facing a big 3rd and 10 in his own territory, Rex showed huge male genitalia and hit Rasheen Davis on a 30-yard pass that set up the winning field-goal.Not many quarterbacks would've made that throw right there. In fact, it was pretty damn awesome. I did a quick Google search on the word "awesomeness" and this was the result.Yes sir, that's fairly accurate.
My full thoughts on SBXLI will be coming up later on today, but I must say that I'm getting a ton of hits today for the search term "Rex Grossman Sucks". Unfortunately I'm not getting hits for an equally appropriate phrase, "Bears Defense Sucks". Looks like this loss will be completely put on Sexy Rexy, which is unfortunate for him. The Bears truly lost as a team. By the way, I'm also getting a lot of hits today for Rex Grossman Drunk, so people must believe that's one possible explanation for some of those throws.

The following is not parody. This is an actual transcript. from Rush Limbaugh's website: "and before we go to the break here, folks, I gotta get something off my chest. You know, the game was the game, and the game was what it was, but I can't handle any more press criticism of Rex Grossman. They're writing his name "W-r-e-c-k-s," saying he was the worst quarterback
