La Presentación de Groove Armada en Chile fue perfecta. Con los integrantes Originales y un par de cantantes que interpretaban temas en algunos de los discos clásicos de la banda, ofrecieron un show contundente y musicalmente hablando: perfecto. Con el sonido de At the river, chicago, i see you baby y el esperado superstylin’, hicieron [...]

Here Is The Brand New Video For "Groove Armada" & "Mutya Buena".In a somewhat strange move, this single is a simultaneous release for both artists & appears on both of their albums. This is a really hot track & will do very well in the British charts, but won't be on general release out of the UK. The video is a little disappointing, I see what they are going for, but it turns out a bit boring. So far I have to admit I have been completely wrong about Mutya, she has gone from strength to strength in the UK, with her infectious pop, dance, R&B combo she is hot property. Let's see if she can pull off the difficult 3rd single.Like The Video,What About The Track Itself?

British duo Tom Findlay and Andy Cato, together as Groove Armada, provide this weeks Essential Mix on UK's BBC Radio 1.
"Because we've been locked away in the rehearsal room, we phoned our favourite record shops and they sent bags of new records over to the rehearsal place. So then it was just a case of getting on top of a lot of new music very quickly. There was a certain amount of chaos about it, but I think out of that chaos it's got a really nice sound," Cato says on the GA blog.Continue reading "Download: Groove Armada - BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix, 2007-03-18">
Cambridge based duo Groove Armada has just finished work on another studio album, which is set to hit the stores this May, bearing the name Soundboy Rock.
The duo of Andy Cato (real name Andrew Cocup) and Tom Findlay shot to fame with their down tempo track “At the river”, which was released in 1997. Ever since they have built up a solid reputation, despite their variation in lo-fi down tempo tracks and up-tempo material.

Though Groove Armada's Andy Cato and Tom Findlay have been justly praised for their production talents, the duo's fourth album, Lovebox, takes them much too far down the path of production gloss, right on into the field of bland MOR electronica. It's a staler, tradder version of 2001's Goodbye Country (Hello Nightclub), which was pretty middle-of-the-road on
