After a short look at this month's red carpet events before the Oscars I can say that glamour has exceeded Hollywood's boundaries. 2008 Bafta Awards were illuminated by shiny dresses in silver, gold and sparkling turquoise. Thank God for friends with Tivo. Well, not really for the Grammys because they sucked. Instead of bringing you guys endless photos of celeb fashion, good or bad, i'm just going to hit you with the single best part of the entire awards show. I present Amy Winehouse winning Record of the Year:...so hood-->To "Ray-Ray...and my Blake incarcerated." And one of my friends tried to argue that Amy is clean because she just left rehab! but is his judgment really valid considering he probably got his info from people who still think Ciara is a hermaphrodite? Please. Amy got her a push up and some new weave. Trust and believe she had some lines before her televised performance...QUICK recognized the "Whitney Houston" in her. And here is the rest of it.

Catch the Grammys Sunday night? Wow, what a show! This was the best show in years and the fashion wasn't bad either. Celebs tend to take more risks at The Grammys but that doesn't mean their choices always work. We think that these ladies would have been better doing something a little more traditional, or just something else all together. As promised, it's time to reveal the 2007 Grammy Awards winners. Now, if you ask me, this year's awards weren't as much as entertaining as the previous years. C'mon, where was that Madonna vs. Gorillaz feeling... or 2005's great mash-up performance by Gwen Stefani, the Black Eyed Peas, Franz Ferdinand, Los Lonely Boys, and Maroon 5? All I'm saying is that this year's Grammys were boring. Yes, boring. I only got a bit cheered up when Nelly Furtado, Natasha Bedingfield and Nicole Scherzinger came on stage or David Spade comparing himself and Rihanna with David Bowie and wife Iman. Of course Beyoncé's and Christina Aguilera's performances were quite great, even Robyn Troup did an amazing job with Justin, but that was all. It all got so predictable with the Dixie Chicks winning every single award. I was rooting for James Blunt or Corrine Bailey Rae to win the Best New Artist award, but after all that country wining, I knew Carrie Underwood would win... And so she did. Anyway, hop
