Sotheby’n New Yorkin huutokaupassa on vielä kymmenen päivän ajan näytteillä Monacon edesmenneen ruhtinatar Gracen henkilökohtaista omaisuutta. Yli viidensadan näyttelyesineen joukossa on Grace Kellylle kuuluneita vaatteita ja asusteita, valokuvia, kirjeitä ja koruja. Ja se kuuluisa Hermesin Kelly käsilaukku vuodelta 1956.Osa näyttelyn esineistöstä myydään lokakuun 25 päivänä pidettävässä huutokaupassa. Huutokaupan tuotto menee Ruhtinatar Gracen rahastolle, joka tukee mm. kulttuuria sekä nuorten nousevien taiteilijakykyjen uraa ja opintoja.Näyttelyn helmiä ovat mm. Cartierin 10,47 karaatin kihlasormus, ruhtinattaren siviilivihkiäisissään käyttämä jakkupuku sekä henkilökohtaiset korut ja jalokivet. Unohtamatta sitä ruhtinattaren mukaan nimettyä, henkilökohtaisessa käytössä ollutta, ehkäpä maailman kuuluisinta Hermesin Kelly käsilaukku. After Mary - the Scissor Sisters song, not the Blessed Virgin - my current obession. This song is fabulous and as for the singer...well, a very handsome young man indeed and if I were younger he'd be my pin-up. Then there's this little gem. Great video, great song and both are now ringtones on my mobile.And yeah, I know I should get out more.

It’s been Number One in the British Chart for 3 weeks now, getting there on Download sales alone until last week when it was finally released on CD. It’s only the second song to manage to make Number One purely on downloads, the first being Gnarls Barkley’s ‘Crazy’.
It’s a great tune, with a novelty feel, but with it, still feels like a proper pop song. Beirut born 23 year old Mika wrote the song after a loveless liasion with a record company, where they wanted him to basically be their bitch. It’s an infectious slice of camp pop music, and reminds me somewhat of the Scissor Sisters. Mika’s voice has drawn parallels with Queen singer Freddie Mercury, and I can’t disagree. I think we need to see what the album (which came out on Monday 5th Feb) brings before we give h
