“ER” star Goran Visnjic is the latest celebrity who is facing a paternity suit. A Croatian woman, Mirela Rupic, filed a lawsuit against Goran after he refused to publicly recognize her 4 month old daughter as his own, The Associated Press reported earlier today. She is now demanding a paternity test. She said that Visnjic knew of her pregnancy from the beginning. She decided to sue after he told her that he would lend financial support for the child, but would not recognize her as his own.
Goran has been married to Ivana Vrdoljak since 1999. They live in Los Angeles. In April of this year, they adopted a newborn boy.

Mirela Rupic, 36, claims ER star Goran Visnjic, 34, is the father of her four-month old daughter. The Croatian woman is suing the actor, demanding a paternity test and alimony.

Visnjic, who plays Dr. Luka Kovac on the NBC series ER, is also known for his roles in Hollywood’s Elektra and Practical Magic.

Ex Thailand Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra reported set to take control of English Premiership club Manchester City after lodged a formal £81.6million bid for the club. Manchester City’s board have recommended to all of the shareholders to accepted the offer. “I am delighted that the board of Manchester City has recommended my bid for the club, I am in no doubt of the responsibility associated with leading Manchester City and pledge to the fans, players and staff my utmost commitment to the future success of this great club,” Shinawatra said to the press.
Shinawatra bid could still be vetoed by the Premier League if they decide Shinawatra does not pass the Right and Proper Persons Test for Premier League.

Former England manager Sven-Goran Eriksson made a statement on the media that he interested to be Manchester City manager. “City is a big, big club with unbelievable support. It would be an honour for me to be manager, like it would be for all other managers,” Eriksson said to Manchester Evening News.
“They have a beautiful stadium and the possibility of a new owner and of course I would talk to them if they indicate they are interested in me becoming coach.” Erriksson added. “City is an established Premiership club with great potential and I know they have ambitions to be challenging higher up the table.”

Former England manager Sven-Goran Eriksson admitted his interest to coach English Premiership club Newcastle United. “There has been no contact whatsoever, but if Newcastle were interested in Sven-Goran Eriksson, I am sure Sven-Goran Eriksson would be interested in talking to Newcastle.” said Eriksson agent.
However it seems that former Bolton boss Sam Allardyce is believed to be the first choice to become Newcastle’s manager next season. Newcastle chairman Freddy Shepherd also said last month that he was not interested in appointing Eriksson.
Former Newcastle United manager Glenn Roeder has resigned from the club on Friday 4th April after disappointing Newcastle results this season.

A rumour on James Bond website MI6.co.uk is saying that Goran Visnjic is being considered to play the villain in the next 007 movie; this will be the 22nd outing for Bond.
Apparently a Croatian newspaper has said Visnjic will leave ER this year to star opposite Daniel Craig, in a role that Visnjic originally auditioned for but was turned down.
MI6.co.uk had also reported that Visnjic will play a former lover of Vesper Lynd, played by Eva Green in Casino Royale.
