Google Talk doesn't allow users to set their status to 'idle' and back. The idle status is automatically assigned once your computer is inactive for ten minutes. My guess is that you are also one among the many who always wished for this little feature in Google Talk to be able to set that 'idle' status manually. This comes in handy to avoid annoying buddies while you are busy working. Now the good news is, you can actually set your status to idle in Google Talk manually. All you need is a free ware named galwaysidle which adds two new options to Google Talk, allowing you to change your status to be 'always idle' or 'never idle'. Recently a Microsoft employee announced what they're working on for the new version of Windows Live Messenger, connections with GTalk, ICQ and AIM. ICQ and AIM is still in the works. I even warned him not to disturb, but he kept on bugging me, so in the end the only choice I had was to block him. After block, I worked in peace but the next day I felt sorry for what I have done and wanted to unblock him back. But to my surprise, there was no way I can unblock him from Google Talk itself. I know, this is very weird, but when I blocked him, Google Talk blocked and deleted him from my list. In the end, I did found how to get the contact unblocked back. Por fin! Luego de años desde que se lanzara el servicio, aparentemente Google Talk está implementando emoticons gráficos en su Google Talk Gadget. Vaya, parece que casi han abandonado por completo la versión de escritorio, verdad? Primero la integración de youtube y fotos en el google talk gadget de igoogle, y ahora emoticons….
