I love Google Reader, but I will also acknowledge that there are some UI things that are just plain better using a client application designed to run on a particular operating system. Jumping into the “me-too” iPhone wagon, the Google Reader now boasts an iPhone version that works mighty fine on other phones. The thing that irks me is putting an iPhone tag to everything these days, although I guess that’s one way companies can get any attention. Not that Google wants it, but still — it’s free publicity for Apple as well.
Anyway, the iPhone Google Reader is now out in

Google Reader Adds Shared Notes, Non-Feed Page Capture [Social Bookmarking] Google adds yet another social-ish function, "Notes," to its Reader feed-browsing tool. The practical use comes from a new bookmarklet that posts whatever page you're looking at to your shared Reader items, with your own notes attached. You can also post notes with no link at all to be shared with your "friends," making it a kind of Twitter clone for, well, avid feed readers. As one blogger points out, savvy note-sharers can also alter the basic text of anything they share, so it might pay to double-check permalinks on shared items. Are "Notes" and the sharing aspects of Reader something you're enjoying, or needless biting from the Web 2.0 aesthetic? Let's hear your thoughts in the comments. Share anything.
Google Readernow lets you share contents on the web with newly added bookmarklet button “Share”. Here are a few new ways you can add and share interesting things in Reader:
Share anything with a bookmarklet - Just drag this link from the Notes page up to your browser’s bookmark bar and click, click, click your way to [...]

It’s very surprising to find that my netvibes is not working property today. Netvibes says many of my feeds are not working properly or invalid. This is simply not true because I have used Google Reader and Blogline desktop reader FeedDemon at the same time. Both Google Reader and Blogline FeedDemon are performing well.I use netvibes, just because as my startpage, I can quickly scan the news and tech news at a glance, without switching from tab to tab within other rss readers. This is a great time-saver for me, due to the large info load of my 500+ RSS feeds. The drawback of setting netvibes as my homepage, of course, is its slow loading; I have to make a compromise in this regard. In fact, before I began to use RSS a few years ago, I set Google as my homepage, which loads really fast. Google Reader is a free, Web-based reader for RSS feeds. You can find feeds on nearly every Web site. RSS feeds offer a simplified view of Web content down to just text, pictures and videos--minus the site's style and formatting, which can sometimes hinder or befuddle casual reading. Google reader lets you subscribe to these feeds as easily as typing them into your browser's address bar, and lets you read them like you're browsing through e-mail. There are many online RSS readers available, but Google is one of the best. It's easy to get a grip on Google Reader basics, but there are several tips and tricks that can make it extremely productive. Setup: Finding RSS Feeds As mentioned earlier, nearly every site has an RSS feed, and you can usually find it by scrolling around and hunting fo
