For a fee, the senakulo players re-enacted the "verdict" part of the Pasyon script right in front of my mother's house in Taytay. We were late in going to Taytay on Good Friday but we still managed to catch one group of senakulo still roaming the streets in search of "fans" like me willing to shell out 100 Php for a glimpse of their performance.It was hilarious but we did not laugh for these actors sincerely think that they are the chosen ones. Just a couple weeks after Honda launched its new Fit known as the Jazz in certain countries, Honda tuner Mugen hasn't wasted any time putting its spin on the four-door hatch. Soy or beeswax candles can be purchased just about anywhere anymore. If you purchase just any-type of candle be it not beeswax or soy wax-based, always make sure it doesn’t contain a wire wick. Wire wicks give off chemicals that can be very harmful to your lungs and growing children’s lungs when inhaled. For this craft you want to choose/make candles that are light in color. White, yellow and even a lighter shade of tan can be used. Take a large-base pillar candle and run a smooth knife blade down the side of the candle, just to take off a small shaving of the candle on the outside and to loosen the wax just a little. This process also removes any dirt that might be on the candle from store handling. Save those shavings for later on in the project. Now is the fun part. Today, I received a package in the mail. Inside the padded manila envelope were two copies of the Zagat 2007/08 San Francisco Nightlife Guide. Apparently, my blog caught the attention of one of the Marcom guys at Zagat, who sent me a nice email last week and offered to forward a couple of complementary copies. I actually have a paid subscription to Zagat.com (not that he knew about that) so I already had online access to all of the content in the book, but it's still nice to have a physical copy that I can leave in the car.I'd like to send out a big thanks to Michael in Corporate Communications, not only for sending me the guide (which is very cool!), but also for keeping in touch with the blogosphere and reaching out to their constituents. You can count on me to renew my subscription next year.

I have to say I have been going around the web trying to find a lot of good tips for people to read, John Chow had a good one called The Seven Habits of Highly Successful Bloggers in this he talks about picking a post frequency, and sticking to it as one of the key points. I whole heartedly agree! Even though my post frequency goes up and down depending on the time I can devote, I’ve started to post date my entries. The only problem with post dating is that spiders can index the posts that are in your drafts unfortunately. So please be careful with that. But It helps lets say you want to have a blog but you can only write once a week, well make 4 posts in a day and post date them to go live, which makes it easier for you to maintain that post level but not swarm readers with posts once a week. I like the artwork for Emily The Strange by Cosmic Debris - there's a slight subversive tone to the cute yet gloomy artwork.
