Very good morning, a morning made better by the release of long awaited Ubuntu 8.04 LTS.People always look out for Ubuntu releases, this one being a Long Term Support (LTS) is even more sought after.It was nice to see the shining Ubuntu homepage with 8.04 release announcement. Check out some of the screen shots of the release pages. One issue I had, there is no torrent for 8.04. Now I love torrents and believe that they relieve pressure off the servers. Good Morning everyone!It's a nice day to wake up early in the morning and already first day of April. Reminds me of summer time here in the Philippines. But nowadays, summer here in Davao experience heavy rainfalls when night time came. And in the morning, it was a little bit cold and i love that weather because I could spend more time in my garden with my plants. My daughter Keisha too helps me in my work and while working she tells me all stories from the disney channel and even sing a song for me that its my first time to hear it. Good morning homeschoolers! Happy Monday to us all! Isn’t it a beautiful day? What? Am I too perky and happy for a Monday morning? Normally I would agree with you, but today I’m just in too good a mood. The weather is nice, the scale says I’ve lost 3 lbs even after the massive candy consumption, I’ve got oldies playing on the radio, and I just read a great article written by a 13 year old homeschooler. Could my day get any better? Oh yes, it could. First I found out that I won a jewelry making kit. I’m super excited and am already planning a couple people’s gifts for Christmas now. Then a book I’ve been waiting for came in the mail and I had the time to sit down and skim through it. And today is daddy’s day off so I may be able to sweet talk him into taking the boys out while I get some work done. I'm not sure, since I haven't been to bed yet. Remember yesterday? I wrote about "overcommitting" myself? I just finished that powerpoint (it's 4:45 am) and it's still not "perfect"...but my eyes are crossing and I have double vision, so it's time to quit. I have to deliver it in an hour and a half, so no use going to bed. With the help of a pot of coffee and the Lord, I should be able to make it through. But still, if you hear a really loud crash around 4:30 in the afternoon, don't worry, it's just me falling face first again.I'm so clumsy lately...and I'm not even pregnant. Three weeks ago, I dove face first off the platform at church after singing (caught myself, thank-you-very-much) and twisted the fooey out of my ankle. I really wish you could have seen it. Today is just one great day isn't it? My Red Sox won last night after being down 3 - 1 and are on the way to the World Series! Go Sox!! It was a nail biter all the way till the 7th inning, but then they just embarrassed them :) Another embarrassing moment in sports was when my undefeated Patriots put a spanking on the Dolphins when they were leading 42 to 7 at the end of the first half. HA! They let them come back a little bit though and only won by 21 points. Either way it was a great weekend for sports!I know, you are probably like - she comes back after a week and talks about sports?? Well this is pretty much my life right now.
