My training to run 10 kilometer in 60 minutes is almost finished. Just one more training to do, in which I have to run for three minutes and than walk for one. According to myasics my fitness level has soared to a dizzying level of a 100, and my fitness curve reaches for the sky. What has struck me the most during this training programma is my much improved pace.But, not once during the training program did I have to run 10 kilometers. And yet myasics tells me to go and run a race, and cheerfully wishes me 'Good luck'. After yet another frustrating baseball season for Yankee fans, it is official; Joe Girardi will be the successor to Joe Torre, as the new Yankee manager. While I am sad to see Torre go, I could not be more pleased with Steinbrenner's decision to hire Girardi over Mr. Baseball, Don Mattingly. While Mattingly was one of the greatest first basemen and hitters for the Bronx Bombers, he does not have the fiery and motivational attitude that Girardi has (in my opinion, of course). Girardi will provide the necessary spark to turn the Yankee's around and that may be exactly what the Yankees need next season. While I have nothing but praise and respect for Joe Torre, I think he was tired of the front office B.S. and pressure handed down from the Steinbrenner family, and think it was time for a change. Torre is rumored to be the next Dodger manager, replacing Grady Little. How nice would a Yankees/Dodgers World Series be? Just like back in the Tommy Lasorda/Billy Martin days...Good Luck

Thursday I hit the Fred Segal sale the day before the common folk could (oh the life of a VIP) where everything was 50% off. What did I find … my Hamsa bracelet! (Qingdao, August 12) — “Beijing, Hong Kong, and Qingdao!” The ten winning families arrived at their final destination of China Tour, Qindaodao of Shandong province on Sunday. Sailing, another distinctive Olympic sport competition has been here waiting for them.
Known as the pre-Olympic sailing event, the “Good Luck Beijing 2007 Qingdao International Regatta” unveiled at the coastal city on Sunday night.
The ten families were invited to attend the opening ceremoy.
During the ceremony, family members wrote their best wishes to the city, and they are getting ready for anther fantastic tour here in Qindao.
