Well, not really. I'm about to leave for work, and after I get back I have a lot of paperwork to do before I leave for home. It's the Thanksgiving holiday here in the US. Take care, everyone.
Well, not "fishing," really, but writing a headline that said something like "Gone having a bad reaction to some lunchtime sushi" isn't as snappy, you know? So I'm going to be away from the blog for a couple of hours while I get myself sorted, but please enjoy the above video, which pretty much sums up how I'm feeling right now. Oh, also, there are 30-second samples of Britney Spears' Circus. In p

Inner City Peace... RevisitedNow that I'm all rested from the vacation and back to my regular routine, me and Grammy are ready to start blogging again...Today, after everybody got home from work and Grammy picked me up from day care, we all went to visit my Great Grandmother Pumpkin Pie and her sister, my Great Aunt Dorothy. She came all the way from a place called Jacksonville, FL to spend a week
I haven’t been able to blog the last day or two because I’ve been very very busy. I am fish sitting. And it’s a lot of responsiblity.
First off, I have to feed it two microscopic dots of food, once in the morning and then again at night. And then I have to check on the [...]
It’s that time of year for me again. It’s time for summer vacation. And as I do most years, I am heading up to Lake County for some fishing, boating, kayaking and general relaxation. This year, I’ll add smoke inhalation to the list thanks to all the fires that are burning, but I digress.
I’ll be back [...]
Okay, more like gone on a ten hour road trip with a five year old, but I’m sure you get the point.  Don’t know if I’ll have internet access, so happy whatever floats your boat and see you next week about this time.
One other thing:
I LOVE this photo – it’s my daughter fly fishing in the Truckee River. She was 7 at the time. Sometimes I gaze at the photo wishing I were someplace as peaceful as this! It’s good to think about it on Fridays as I gear up for a busy weekend!
If you’d like to talk about real estate – if you’re ready to make a purchase or start thinking about getting your home ready to market, give me a call. I promise I won’t have my head in a river!
Enjoy and Happy Friday!

The blog world is at Blogher. Mr. Chicken is at home. The Poo and I are here:
I have actual work to tackle, and I only have seven more days by the sea before I return to this:
I am salty and uninspired, and annoyed with my writing. It isn't good right now. My mind is bleached bone dry by the sea.
So I'm taking a wee break. I'll be back soon, but for now, I've gone fishin'.
Catch ya later.
I will be fishing in Canada this week. We are leaving in about 5 hours and I will be back on Saturday afternoon. Thus, I need to go to bed to ensure that I get at least a little sleep and Ming will be handling the posting from Monday-Friday. I'll be back with a post Saturday night and will do my best to try and find a computer while I am up there. So, I'm tired and not quite done packing yet so here is what everybody else who isn't as lazy as I am is writing:A Personal Take on This Season's AL All-Stars Thus Far - [Complete Sports]For Those Who Think Spelling Bees Are Sport - [Insomniac's Lounge]Please Sit Larry Hughes (I Agree!) - [Just Call Me Juice]5,084 - [Pacifist Viking]Some Raptor Report Cards (Well, I am going to Canada!) - [Raptors Talk]The Geeks Are Taking Over - [Seal Clubbers]Now There's Compelling Television! - [Signal to Noise]I Love the MLB Survivor Challenge - [Sports Show On Mute]The NBA or Reality TV? - [Sports Talk Daily]Cleveland is Taking a Swift Kick to the N
5:00 AM Saturday morning the alarm clock goes off. My hand starts instinctively slapping at buttons, “Make it stop! Make it stop!” Just as I start to drift back into the depths of some remote dreamworld I am once again disturbed, only this time my brain is wondering, “What is that noise!?… Oh yeah. Geez. [...]
We're off to da farm for the weekend. WonderBaby would love to bring you with us, but as much as we love your company, we're going to go it alone. Plus, you would get muddy, and Internets don't wash well, or so I've heard. In the meantime, you can keep up with all of the blog-on-blog navel-gazey action by checking in at BlogRhet (and, then - maybe? - write your own post about writing posts and then post that post. Trust me, it's FUN.) (Questions for discussion HERE.)Or, if you're tired of all the meta-talk, you could go read about How WonderBaby Learned To Read (Sorta). Or, if you're tired of me, you could go read Bossy. She funny.TTFN.
