Golden Globes UpdateGlenn Close won for best actress in a TV drama, but Rose did not pick up a golden globe this year. =( But think about how nice it will be next year when she saunters down the red carpet and accepts one in person! ;)
This year's winners were announced with none of the usual glamour and glitz at a simple news conference. See winners Johnny Depp, Kate Blanchett, Daniel Day Lewis, Julie Christie and Best Picture 'Atonement' all here on Webcastr.
The 65th annual Golden Globe Awards have been cancelled, due to the continuing writer’s strike and the WGA’s confirmation that none of nominees would be crossing the picket lines to pick up their awards.Instead, this year's awards will be announced during a one-hour press conference that is scheduled to be covered by NBC News this Sunday at 9pm EST. At press time, it was unclear whether the press conference would air on NBC, sister station MSNBC, or not at all.

It’s awards season here in Blogland. Every time we turn around someone has gotten nominated for some cool award or another- Top 100 Mom Blogs, the Bloggers Choice Awards, the Best of Blogs awards, they are everywhere.
It’s understandable there are bloggers out there who might feel a little left out. (Kudos to TableforFive for having the cajones to blog about it!) Who can blame them? I think when we sit home with our popcorn watching the Emmys, Oscars, Golden Globes, or whatever, we all dream of being up there accepting that award. Doesn’t matter that we are not actresses, it doesn’t matter that we are not 5′9 and size 0, it doesn’t matter that we don’t have the $10k to shell out on a vintage Valentino, not to mention the lipo and boob job we’d need to hold such a thing up. We want to be there anyways. To feel special, to feel glamorous, to feel important.
Like on tv, it’s easy to sit back and say “I wish I was up there&rdquo

I'm one of those people who notices hair--both my own and others. So it's only natural that I would scope out the hair of what are considered the most fashionable, chic women who show up for the Golden Globe Awards every year.
Here is my run-down of who I thought looked great and who didn't in 2007 at the Globes:
The list of the hairstyles on the actors I liked is much longer than the ones I didn't. Some of my favorites were: Evangeline Lilly, Beyonce, Jessica Biel, Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Hudson, Penelope Cruz, Drew Barrymore, Ali Larter, Scarlett Johansen, and Angelina Jolie. Salma Hayek looked divine with her dark hair and white, sexy dress. She stole the show which wasn't easy to do.
The hairstyles I didn't like were: Sharon Stone--way too matronly! Sienna Miller--what was she thinking with that thick alpine braid going across the top of her head with the messy back part?! Cameron Diaz--I liked her better as a blond, and her lipstick w
Can we call 'em or what? Three of the hottest looks from this evening's Golden Globe Awards have each been the subject of recent Stiletto Jungle "Trends" articles. These dresses looked fab on the red carpet and the trends they represent transition right into everyday life-- even if you aren't living the lifestyles of the rich and famous!

Jennifer Hudson, co-star of Dreamgirls, has just won a GOLDEN GLOBE for Best Supporting Actress. CONGRATULATIONS!!! I couldn’t be happier for her. In other Golden Globe news, the award for Best Song in a Motion Picture did not go to “Listen” from Dreamgirls, but to a song Prince wrote for Happy Feet… cool… Anways, the show has just started, so turn your TV to NBC to catch the rest.

Some of our favorites & the underdogs stole the night!
The Golden Globes mark the start of the red carpet award season, and its certainly off to a good start. There were so many different looks at this years Golden Globes but it looks like white and bright colour such as yellow and red were quite popular. Below are some of my favourite looks and people that are worth posting on.Reese Witherspoon - Everthing about this outift and how Reese looked can only be described by the word "cute". I loved the canary yellow Nina Ricci dress and the bright red pumps completed the look. Her hair was gorgeous as well. Ryan Phillipe sure is a retard.Cameron Diaz - I dont know why but I though Cameron looked fine in her Valentino dress. Shes so tall and fit that she could pull it off. Plus when every girl is wearing her hundreth Chanel dress and Miu Miu pumps I thought it was great that she took a fashion risk. Rachel Weisz - I absolutely adored Rachels look. The rich tone of her red dress paired with her dark brown hair was stunning. Ali Larter - People t
