Esta está formada por su líder y vocalista Sully Erna, Tony Rombola, en guitarra, Robbie Merrill en el bajo y Shannon Larkin en batería.Hasta este momento han editado cuatro discos y solamente en Estados Unidos llevan vendidos más de 10 millones de discos. En el año 2002 a Erna le propusieron escribir una canción para la película actuada por The Rock. Se noti bene nel video c'è il mi-ti-co The Rock attore principale di "Il Re Scorpione". "I stand alone" è nella colonna sonora del film.
Qui invece la stessa canzone è inserita nel videogioco Prince of Persia per la Playstation2. Nel video ci sono tutti e tre i PoP: Le sabbie del tempo, Spirito guerriero, I due troni. Giocarci è bellissimo (ma che nervi quandi cadi correndo sui muri o saltando da un muro all'altro), e il principe è così affascinante e selvaggio . Bella grafica, splendidi scenari, combattimenti all'ultimo sangue, spade, spadine, spadone, scimitarre, salti e enigmi da risolvere.
