      God doesn't need a superman...
Earlier this week, while reading one of the many devotionals I read, I was struck by a quote..."A superman would have made it look easy. It took an ordinary man to make it look like God"...That quote has gone over and over in my mind. One of the stories that was brought to my mind was of David and Goliath. It is such a great illustration of God taking the average, if not below-average in stature

      God Doesn’t Like US
Columnist - John SammonWhy is all this happening? Iraq? Hurricane Katrina and then Ike? Sarah Palin? And now the economy? Why? I think it’s simple. It’s God. God doesn’t like America. If the Republicans can invoke the name of God constantly in literally everything they do, God bless America. God bless our troops. This is a mission from God. [...]

God doesn't want you to be in debt
There are points in our life when meeting both ends can be just akin to hanging in a rope. The opportunity which we were long waiting for is so elusive. Then comes hurdles in our life which we have to put up with. When finances are really hard up, borrowing could just be an option. Borrowing is not bad after all, especially when money comes from good hands, from people who may just be around to ext

Do You Ever Feel Like God Doesn’t Care
The newly finished roof, leaks, the dog is sick, and I have a chronic back pain that makes it hard to sit in one place for very long. My business is completely dead and the bills are mounting on a pile on top of my desk. In total distress I turn on the [...]

God Doesn't Say No - YOU Do
by Bob DoyleThere are a couple of things you've probably heard said over and over. The first is, "Why doesn't God answer my prayers?". What you'll generally hear next is the response which goes something like, "God DOES answer your prayers. Sometimes he just says 'No'".The fact is, it's not God who says "No". In fact, God - the infinite source of "All that Is", ONLY says "Yes"! God is the ultimate "creation" mechanism. God responds PRECISELY to YOUR creative catalyst. So you say, "Well, I've been asking God for money, but he hasn't given it to me.". The answer lies in HOW you are asking! Remember that God - the Universe - responds in a very precise way! It's a matter of Quantum Physics! If your prayer goes something like, "Dear God. I'm in trouble. I have no money. I can't pay any of the bi

      God doesn't need servants
God didn't create you to be his servant. He didn't create you because he needed someone to clean his toilet and lick his boot. God created you out of love. God created you NOT so that you could love him but so that he could love you. You are not obligate to love god. You have the choice free will. The reason god gave you free will is so that you would have a 50% chance of loving him 50% chance. Because --> you YOU you

      God doesn't hear our prayers!
Prayer.Communication with God.Does God hear our communications?I ask this question in consideration of the nature of prayer.I feel that anyone willing to engage in a simple philosophical consideration of prayer must come to the conclusion that God actually does not hear our prayers. (Without being too simplistic or too pedantic, God does not have ears.)So what is the nature of prayer and how does this affect the ‘science’ & ‘art’ of communicating with God in prayer? The activity of prayer is such that one interacts with the divine on a level of direct-personal-interaction. However, this interaction obviously does not take place on the verbal plain, this is not a conversation between ourselves and God although some preachers would have us believe that it is just that.I will use a word here which some people may consider to be out of place, but it is my understanding that prayer is something much more ‘magical’ than a conversation. It appears to me that when we engage in prayer
