I guess you can call me the Hit Predictor, because when I posted the video for Fergie’s “Glamorous” featuring Ludacris a while ago, I told yall that it would be a huge hit. Looks like I was right, as “Glamorous” sits atop this week’s Billboard Hot 100, Fergie’s second number 1 off of her debut solo album. It’s funny because just two weeks ago, the song wasn’t even in the Top 50. But last week it jumped 55-8, and now this week 8-1. The cut pushes newcomer MIMS‘ hit “This Is Why I’m Hot” down to number 2. What an Oscar-night we had. We stayed up all night to see it and we hade prepared with tortillas and salsa and some drinks. But the youngest son had to keep on with Coke.Anyhow: I was the only one who was wake all party through. The youngest got to sleep around 4 am and the oldest son around 5. But around 6 when the announced Best Motion Picture of the Year I had to wake him up. That was his favourite. I talk about Departed. I have not seen it (feel embarrased about that). But I am not always wanted beside my sons when they go to cinema these days. Thats life for a teenagermum, I suppose. The day before the Oscar we saw two nominated films: Little Miss Sunshine and The Queen. Little Miss Sunshine: A roadmovie about a family travelling through US with a young girl who wants to be in a beauty pageant. I love it. Its a wonderful alternative movie.
