Update 3 — The price is down to $1,499,000 and still no takers. Total loss stands at $341,940 after commissions.
Update 2 — This house was pulled from the MLS and relisted at $1,549,000. This seller must realize they are a bagholder and they are getting really motivated to save whatever they can of their equity. Right now, if they get their new asking price, they stand to lose $294,940 after a 6% commission.
Update 1 — The asking price on this house just dropped from $1,700,000 to $1,650,000. That is a motivated seller. If today’s seller gets their asking price, they stand to lose $203,000.
Oh, a storm is threat’ning
My very life today
If I don’t get some shelter
Oh yeah, I’m gonna fade away

So far the more expensive stuff in Woodbury has maintained its denial, but lately there have been a few properties showing a true desire for a transaction. crap in my pants!!!!. Or should the title be "Let's party like it's 1929!!!!!" Ouch and as I write this the futures are falling apart again.-Today was a day, I should just not trade. I had to get up early for a conference call which was cancelled in the middle of night but before I knew it I had made coffee and bathed - silly me. Then I decided it was a good day to upgrade my Anti Virus software(see note below) - silly me. So being not in a right frame of mind, I tried trading - silly me. As the totals showed, I lost $200 but each trade I fat fingered something about everyone of them and then panicked - silly me. I was off balance from the get go and never regain my footing. Then more computers problems and I said "F" it - time to go to work and have more fun - silly me.-Don't trade when you are tired, too stressed, too hot or cold, too pissed off.-The numbers:Stocks: noneStock Futures: Gross - 160 net -199 contracts 18Forex: none - I am really wishing I had my head on straigh
I love Rolling Stones' original songs, and lately I've been finding a lot of not-quite-as-good-but-still-really-cool takes on their work. Yesterday was the electronic cover of "Paint it Black", and today is the (mostly) instrumental remix of "Gimme Shelter". Good stuff, especially for remixers looking for mashup material.powered by ODEO
Governor Ed Rendell has announced his fellow Pennsylvania paper pushers have reworked their offer to the Pittsburgh Penguins to keep them put in PA. Although he acknowledged an agreement is not yet final other officials have hinted that a deal should be forthcoming.Meanwhile, Penguin fans have flocked to the ancient Mellon Arena. Recording 17 sellouts through 27 home games already exceeding last season's total and averaging 95% capacity at home. When an attempt to approve the new arena with funds supplied in full by a casino developer were shot down the forthcoming Sprint Center in Kansas City offered the Penguins a home rent free along with revenue-sharing. My lease is up soon if there's no takers...On the other side of the county the Seattle SuperSonics are also attempting to score a new building. They are hoping to dip into the same taxes that helped the Seahawks construct Qwest Field and the Mariners build Safeco Field. The Sonics are eying two locations in the Seattle suburbs. Th
