Getting Organized Does Not Necessarily Mean Buying More Stuff
Many people confuse getting organized with their need to purchase more stuff to contain the stuff which then makes you organized. That’s not quite how it works. You might think that you have to go out and buy all those organizing holders, baskets, bins, storage units and whatever else they tell you you must have [...]

      Getting Organized
Confused about our upcoming joint-family trip, I called our friend to confirm the dates."What nights are we going to the beach again?" I asked him.He told me, then asked,"Why? What's going on? You guys can still go, right?" "Yes, yes, we can still go, of course. K and I are just sitting here at our desks with our blackberries and our calendars doing a little family planning... you know, getting ready to HAVE SEX." Encapsulated in a split second, I saw the complete performance of a one act play on K's face.First, I saw his total shock, then his mortified embarrassment and, finally, a shrug of acceptance and resignation. He married a shameless clown with no boundaries. What can he do?Meanwhile our friend, knowing the two of us and our propensity to be overly organized, control freaks roared wi

      Getting organized
Though I love my Blackberry and my laptop is great for keeping track of names and dates too, I still like to keep an organizer handy.  Nothing can replace the security blanket effect of having all my important information in my hand.  I like to page though the calendar, add things, change things and generally keep track of where I've been and where I'm going.  It's nice to have some paper at the ready for impromptu notes and reminders.  I just bought a new little Filofax and I love it.  It's got great little pockets for holding business cards and receipts, pages of useful facts on things like measurements, holidays and maps.  It's not much bigger than my Blackberry so it fits nicely in my bag.  The rubberband closure makes it easy

      I Need Help Getting Organized
I am an organization freak and when you live in a small apartment or a small house it’s very hard to stay organized. I thought my husband and I had a lot of stuff before we had our daughter, but now it’s even worse. Over the years my husband and I have started storing things in my parent’s garage, but it has now gotten so cluttered with stuff that you can’t even move. We decided to start looking online for some kind of solution and came upon CarGuyGarage.com. They have over 1,000 products to help organize any kind of clutter you may have. What I found interesting is that they even have supplies to change your garage into a work station for hobbies and kids crafts, in addition to storage. They are very affordable and have a wide selection of storage solutions to choose from to organize your garage. Finally we maybe able to find what we are looking for without having to go searching through the piles.

      Getting Organized
It is truly amazing how much having my own space in the house has made a difference. I finally feel like I am getting a handle and some direction on my company aspirations and my hobbies. I know that my scrapbooks will have to continue to be on-hold. I mean what do they care? I haven’t updated my boy’s books since 2004ish. The photos are all in envelopes and ready to go for 2004, 2005 and 2006.

      getting organized
Are you an organized or neat person? I used to be but these days, I'm so swarmed with work that all my stuff are left lying around and it's getting too messy. When I was sewing crystals and beads on my wedding train and gown, I bought of lots of Swarovki crystals. After the wedding, they were left in packets and envelopes and I have forgotten to organize them properly in containers. Maybe, I should get one of these colourful storage bins then people used in garages. It is perfect for me to sort out all the coloured beads and crystals in different sizes. I can even keep my rolls of satin ribbons in the storage bin.

      Getting Organized For Baby
On Organizing My Life In Preparation For The Baby I used to be a reasonably organized person. I had a list of things to do for the day or the week and if I may say so, I had a degree of control as to where my life was heading. I haven’t been this person for the past few years. When you’re working from home, it’s very easy to get into the habit of being slack. And I’m embarrassed to say that I have virtually sank into a state of mind that operates on the “whatever will be will be” lifestyle. Truth is, it’s been fun. Almost liberating actually. When you’ve been working your a** of for the big guy — hoping to get that raise, aiming to be the best, pressured to conform to everyone’s idea of success, it is eye-opening to realize that life goes on and can even be just as great when you’re not chained to these societal expectations. I’ve come to realized though that it seems I’ve tipped a bit too much to the other side. A
