Stricly Come Dancing star Gethin Jones has revealed fans send him begging letters — for his DIRTY SOCKS.
Gethin, 29, said he was embarrassed by the demands.
The Blue Peter presenter said: “People keep writing asking for my socks — and they insist they are used.”
He also admitted members of the public often mistake him for T4 presenter and fellow Welshman Steve Jones.
And Gethin said supermarket staff regularly advise him how to win the BBC dancing show with his partner, Danish beauty Camilla Dallerup, 33.
He said: “I get random things like some guy stopping me in Sainsbury’s and saying ‘I thought your hips were great, but you need to follow the movement of your body’.”

Blue Peter hunk Gethin Jones says he’s still young, free and single despite being joined at the hip to his Strictly Come Dancing partner Camilla Dallerup.
The 29-year-old presenter has set tabloid tongues wagging since wowing the judges on the hit BBC1 show every Saturday with his Danish dance beauty.
Last week millions of viewers saw gorgeous Gethin treat Camilla to a night on the tiles in London as they prepared to take to the floor.
But despite being encouraged to ask Camilla out on a date by his mum, Cardiff bachelor boy Gethin insists the pair’s relationship is Strictly professional.

Everyone seems to be going mad for Gethin after last weeks fabulous Viennese Waltz, not to mention the group dance where he dazzled the ladies in a sexy uniform!
He must be loving it! Now if you have ready many of my previous posts then you’ll know that I haven’t been a huge fan of Gethin because I thought he needed to put a lot more personality and heart into his dances. So, he has obviously taken my advice, hence the great dance last week!
Let’s hope he can keep it up with the dreaded Rumba.

Tess Daly has revealed she thinks Blue Peter presenter Gethin Jones might be the surprise winner of this year’s Strictly Come Dancing.
The 36-year-old, who presents the ballroom show alongside veteran host Bruce Forsyth, said: “I think Gethin’s a dark horse, and historically it’s always a transformation story, so I think Gethin could surprise a lot of people. His hips have come out of nowhere!”
Speaking on the red carpet at the National TV Awards, Tess also praised her co-presenter Bruce, who turns 80 next year.
“How can you have more energy than someone half your age - it’s incredible!” she said.
But Tess revealed she gets stick for her little dance routine with Bruce, which kicks off the show - from her Radio 1 DJ husband Vernon Kay.
“He’s always telling me off for that little dance, saying ‘you’re tripping up again’. Bruce always manages to tread on my toes and if I tread on his toes, it’s
There was no rest for Gethin after Saturday – he was straight back in the training room learning this week’s dance.
Gethin was noticeably quiet during the lesson with Camilla commenting, ‘You’re very serious when you learn something new aren’t you. You can cut the atmosphere with a knife.’
Talking about this week’s dance, Camilla offered this advice:
‘This dance really needs to be passionate, its all in the look, its not a happy dance. Very much the man taking charge and the man leading.’
Gethin is happy with his choice of dance this week:
‘Bruno, Arlene, and Craig talked about passion and so you have to deliver that or there is no point turning up.’
‘I feel more determined this week,’ he added. ‘It was an odd feeling when I got negative comments, it almost made me want to do the dance off to show them that I can do it. Bring it on, I really want to do it.’

Gethin gives it a twirl despite his mates’ teasing
Before signing up for Strictly Come Dancing, Gethin Jones was pilloried for “dancing like his dad”, teased about his lack of prowess by his rugby mates and readily admitted taking to the dancefloor was “alien” to him.
The 29-year-old from Cardiff, well used to taking on challenges in his role as a Blue Peter presenter, seemed to be facing his toughest test yet.
But the sporty Welsh TV favourite yesterday revealed how he has thrown himself into training “as intense as for any sport”, spending up to four-and-a-half hours a day preparing for the new series starting this week.

Czech Cold War survivors on front lineBy Gethin Chamberlain in Trocavec, Czech Republic, Sunday TelegraphLast Updated: 12:25am GMT 18/02/2007They made it through one cold war on the side of the Soviet Union, but now the people of the Czech Republic have been thrust back on to the front line of a new nuclear stand-off - this time on the side of the West.Jan Neoral, mayor of Trocavec, at the former Soviet military base: ‘We are afraid of terrorists’America wants to site the radar base for its new anti-missile defence system, aimed at containing the threat from states such as Iran and North Korea, in an old Soviet-era base less than 40 miles from the Czech capital, Prague. But the hi-tech plan - dubbed "Son of Star Wars" in a nod to Ronald Reagan's original Strategic Defence Initiative - has caused consternation in the neighbouring rural villages, where facilities are so basic that many people have to draw water from the wells outside their homes in buckets. It is not just the prospec
