      Oh, the Geriatric Pele
This weekend we arranged a play date at the park for The Rooster and one of her friends from daycare.I played soccer with the nine year old brother of Rooster's friend while the other parent watched the girls on the playground.I used to play competitive soccer when I was in elementary and middle school, but I’m pretty sure my last season was when I was in sixth grade.Nevertheless, I was impressed with my speed and agility.[Look at me go!]I kicked the ball with amazing force and precision![I am an Olympic Soccer Super Star!!!]I played so hard and ran so fast that I wore the nine year old out. He got winded and had to quit first.[Ha!]I was feeling really proud of my self and, because I am not very mature, I taunted my nine year old friend.“I a-am faster. I a-am stronger.” I sang while

      Geriatric assault
Il Times online prende in giro i politici italiani e la proposta di legge per l’editoria Recently, Italian lawmakers once again took aim at modern life, introducing an incredibly broad law that would effectively require all bloggers, and even users of social networks, to register with the state. Even a harmless blog about a favourite football squad or a teenager grousing about life’s unfairness would be subject to government oversight, and even taxation – even if it’s not a commercial website. assalto, geriatrici, timesCondividi

“Annoyed as hell” would be an accurate representation of my mood today on my noon hour drive home (all of 5 measly blocks). I’m fully of the opinion that Jan & Dean’s The Little Old Lady from Pasadena was a tongue-in-cheek absurdist piece about the bluehair population currently roaming our streets and wreaking havoc on everyone’s normal driving environment. Second only to drunk drivers, the extremely old folks still driving around town are seriously starting to screw up safety and responsibility on the road as well as make me pull out the profanity far more often than normal. And, frankly, Iowa driving license law is to blame. While I fully support the ability for all ages of people to possess a license to drive, the fact remains that it is a privilege, not a right, and the laws are too flexible for those who have reached their golden years and past, allowing them to continue to renew over and over with only passing a simple eye exam. I fully be

      The Joy of Geriatric Sex
Georgie Audean Buoy, 84, of The Dalles, Oregon plead guilty on Thursday to charges of having sex with an 11 year-old boy in her foster care and will serve 36 months in prison. She was originally sentenced to eight years but I guess the judge decided a life sentence wasn’t really justified in this case. Personally, whenever I hear about a hot young teacher being accused of having sex with her 16 year-old student I think attaboy, I wish something like that would have happened when I was in school, but in this case… well, I need to go take a shower, stick my finger down my throat and whip myself on the back with a stick now.
