Hannah MacGibbon, the new creative director of Chloé, is playing with such Seventies and Eighties elements as guipure lace, linen and polkadots, which she says should be worn with a "relaxed and easy spirit." Here, her pretty little geometric lace dress, worn with flat sandals and a chain-strap bag.
New Day At Chloé
PARIS — "It's a fresh start," declares Hannah MacGibbon,

The modern subject of differential forms subsumes classical vector calculus. This text presents differential forms from a geometric perspective accessible at the sophomore undergraduate level. The book begins with basic concepts such as partial differentiation and multiple integration and gently develops the entire machinery of differential forms. The author approaches the

View More Works by This Master This delightful jar and lid by Yi Sang-jae, Master Craftsman of Wancho Weaving, is made of strips from the unique plant called Wancho, an annual reed found in rice paddies and other marshlands in some parts of Korea. Wancho is characterized by its sleek texture, milky-white color and soft but durable body, which has made it an excellent material for craft weaving for more than 1000 years. The delicate geometric design is so finely woven that it seems unbelievable that it was made by human hands.
Today, I’m going to follow up with some latest findings from authentic Japanese geometric and crests design websites (no English pages, though). This time, however, isn’t vector format. They’re all .gif files, so mainly for webs. Probably best used for background images on websites.
I never thought I would, but I do love these new t-shirts by Concrete Hermit. Geometric figures, multiple lines, and a confident composition are the main elements of "Starliner" and "Vortex".
H/D = heighth or densityW= width expansion line or more formalistic "Edge"T1,T2 etc....= multiple scalings of topologyI= input (data, vectors, math to geometric callibration)O= output ( output patterning, data recognition into systemization of measure(s))The multiple topologies is an algorythmic modelling of smaller to larger data perturbations within an event and time.....this can account for larger to smaller scaling and surface and edge adjustments as one moves through the data/space/event time. This appears to be important as it can work on several levels to eliminate the arbitrary in spatial to numerical corrolations. The input/output model also goes into an interesting comparison to a cumulus or cumulus to cumulonimbus cloud in its event lifetime, dynamics, measure and multipl

A subtle mauve heart first catches your attention, and as you zoom out, the variegated, geometric gold petals shimmer slightly, accentuated by a midnight blue backdrop. The last thing you'll notice is the hefty weave, which adds just the right amount of texture and a little masculine handle to the femininity of floral patterns. Significant, but subtle.

This page contains a geometric dissection puzzle that you can try at home. The shape shown below is a 12-sided polygon, known as a dodecagon. Print this page, then use scissors to cut out the dodecagon and also to cut it into pieces along the lines shown. The challenge is then to reassemble the pieces to form a hexagon, which is a 6-sided polygon. This dissection was discovered by Ernest Irving Freese sometime prior to 1957. The dissection was found by overlaying two tessellations, one of dodecagons and triangles, and the other of hexagons and triangles.
