Jon goes to London to be with Liz and Garfield sneaks with him. Meanwhile a deceased Queen gives everything to her cat Prince XII. Her only heir Lord Dargis becomes jealous and tries to kill Prince. Garfield & Odie sneaks out to the streets of London. Lord Dargis throws Prince in the river and ends up in the sewer of London. Smithee the butler believes he found Prince but it was really Garfield and Jon find Odie with Prince and mistakes him for Garfield. Garfield Gets Real is a computer-generated animated movie starring Garfield the Cat, produced by Paws, Inc. in cooperation with Wonderworld Studios and distributed by Twentieth Century Fox. So it's not strange that Davis knows so well the behavior of these little felines.As Jim Davis was asthmatic, he spent long periods of time in bed. And during his convalescence he used to draw. It was on July 2, 1881, as he was walking through a Washington, D.C. railroad station that President James Garfield was shot in the arm and lower back by a disturbed loner named Charles Guiteau. As the President slumped to the ground, Guiteau cried out "I am the Stalwart of Stalwarts" before being taken into custody. President Garfield was taken to the White House where doctors worked to save his life. Unfortunately, the sixteen doctors who were called in to tend the president had no notion that their own unsterilized hands and instruments were a danger to their patient (this was years before sterilization became common practice in medicine). Last evening I was feeling too lazy to take my pets out for a walk, so I just thought of watching a movie with them, but could not decide which one. Yet another British actor is set to light up Hollywood, Andrew Garfield will be making his Hollywood debut in the movie “Lions for Lambs”, and boy is he in good company with this United Artists film which also stars Meryl Streep, Robert Redford and Tom Cruise.
