Gareth Hunt Star of the hit TV series Avengers has died at the age of 65. he died from pancreatic cancer. In the Avengers Hunt played the part of Mike Gambit with fellow stars Joanna Lumley’ and Patrick McNee, who played the parts of Purdey and John Steed respectively.
