They found that over the course of 2007, Internet Explorer's overall market share in the enterprise decreased by 10%. During that same period they saw Firefox's share almost doubled from 9.8% to 18%. A week ago we lost one of our oldest, but dearest members of our congregation, Agnes Traviss. Yesterday her funeral was held. Until my release two months ago, I had been her bishop for many years. I had truly enjoyed her company. She always wore that gleaming smile on her face that would make you forget your own worries for a moment. Often when I looked at her from the stand I thought about her life as a single woman, struggling to get by. She had had many reason to complain, but never once did I hear a bitter word from her lips. On the contrary, she always gave thanks and praise, especially to her Lord Jesus, who had given her the richest of lives. This was the lasting impression and legacy she left to my heart: her perfect example of gratitude. I am happy to report that my Hypothyroidism is very well on its way to being under control. I have yet to finish my medication and do a few more exams, but I'm eager to be done with it all. The newspaper, The Chattanooga Times Free Press, says that 10 years ago you would have been hard pressed to find too many people practicing yoga in the gyms across the city. Now their classes are filling up. “Our yoga classes are consistently full; our lunchtime classes have 25 or more people in them. Demand is definitely up,” said Teresa Wade, fitness director at the Sports Barn downtown. In Japan and Thailand it is considered in very poor taste to show anger. Anger is judged to be a weakness and, if a person gets mad, he loses face. In that case, I lost face in a very big way last weekend! I was at the Jamaica High School track training for a possible new record – running with a raw egg balanced in a dessert spoon, but instead of holding the spoon the traditional way in my hand, I was trying to run while holding the spoon in my mouth. It was really difficult and I had no doubt that I looked absolutely ridiculous!

This is a bit strange but since I wrote a post on odd search strings people have used to find this site, I have lost a whole lot of readers. I think what has happened is that some of the lost readers read this list of nonsense search strings and may have recognized a variation of their own search string and been a bit embaressed by them. Also they probably think that not only can I see the search strings people entered but possibly who they are, or an email address or some pointer back to them. But I can’t. I have absolutely no idea who enters the search strings. Recently I had an intense agitation of spirit and had to make some decisions that seemed so much against my best long term interests to restore a feeling of peace again. But later events proved to me that the course of action that restored my peace were the right ones to take, even though they felt strange and difficult at the time. Working closely with the peace necessary to create has helped me understand that agitation of spirit whether yours or anothers always needed to be listened to with care. Stopp

Molly is continuing to be the popular girl I prayed for, but sometimes I don't quite know how to handle her. Friday I picked her up from school, and we went out for supper and shopping. We had a lot of fun together, trying on sunglasses, looking at jewelry, and talking. Well, she was talking. I think both of my daughters were born with the ability to talk incessantly without taking a breath. She's going to try out for cheerleading for next year. That is so far out of my realm of experience, all I can do is promise to root for her (and try not to calculate the cost of uniform, shoes, etc). Tomorrow she's singing the National Anthem by herself, acapella, at a wrestling tournament. She didn't even get to finish the song to try-out, the band director was so impressed he gave her the job before the rockets red glare. It amazes me how the Lord gives us children who are so unlike us. Molly isn't afraid to sing in public or try out for cheerleading or wear trendy jewelry or teeny bikinis.
