The Fuzzy Dwarf Lionfish, is also called the Shortfin Lionfish or simply the Dwarf Lionfish. It has red, white, and black vertical stripes along the body with large, fan-like pectoral fins and tall, quill-like dorsal fins. The Fuzzy Dwarf Lionfish is appropriately named because of its full fins. Dendrochirus zebra may also be called the [...]

The prompt for May 24/25 of dw2008 is to create animal cards using fuzzy fabrics. As soon as I saw it, I knew I had the perfect fabric. I sketched the shape I wanted on the back, cut and began to embellish. My original plan was a cat's head. But after sewing on the nose (now beak) and starting to attached the eyes, I realized it looked more like an owl! Oops.I hand stitched lines to create "w
Fuzzy is a 3 year old 30 lb (miniature/intermediate) Xoloitzcuintli (Mexican Hairless) girl who is a lovely specimen of this ancient noble breed. She wants very much to please her people and she’s not shy about asking for attention if she feels she’s been shortchanged. Her current foster home thinks she would do well with another dog as a playmate. Xolo’s enjoy a good run, so a large yard or

Andrew Coulson of the Cato Institute published an editorial recently in the Washington Post, and followed this up with a detailed blog post, estimating that D.C. spends about $24,000 to educate each child in their public school system. I estimated the number at $12,000. To reach his conclusion Mr. Coulson counts construction dollars and money tied to teacher retirement funds. He then goes on to say that private schools are spending a little over $14,500 per pupil which makes it appear that these institutions are far more efficient. However, if he is going to add funds for buildings and retirement accounts then Mr. Coulson must apply the same reasoning to private schools. Costs that would need to be included would be items such as capital campaigns, bank loans, and contributions that were use
Have you ever gone a whole day without brushing your teeth? And then felt like you had little fuzzy sweaters on them? Not a nice soft cashmere or angora. We're talking those really rough, linty sweaters that tend to hang out on thrift store clearance racks.Ew.I'm a thrice a day-er myself, so this feels weird.Even weirder is that I'm writing about the fact instead of, you know, actually brushing my teeth. For dental emergencies like this I pull out the baking soda. Wet brush. Sprinkle soda on top, scrub for two minutes, voila! From fuzzy sweaters to squeaky clean.I don't know what's sadder, the fact that clean teeth bring me much joy or the fact that I couldn't think of anything more interesting to write about tonight.
-Day 57.Today is Inappropriate Card Day. It's a National Blog Holiday instituted by Diesel at MPAC, here is the history. I am obligated to participate otherwise I'll get a ticket and that would be very inappropriate.Of course, I would participate anyway even without the threat of a Vijillion dollar fine because I am a team player… MOST of the time. I decided to make my own because there are too many of you and my accountant has put a block on my allowance ever since I called him an "oogly monster". Need a laugh? …or just a reminder of your own household?
Even though these animals talk…and this cat knows how to work The Clapper…I feel like I can relate to the antics between cat and dog!
Check out my doxie, Clyde, and calico cat, Olive:
My cat taunts my dogs and this proves it! She coyly places herself on the arm of the couch a mere foot away from the puppies. She jumps right in front of them while they are tumbling on the floor with a toy….She crawls into my lap, begging for attention, while one of the boys snoozes there already! It’s almost as if she is trying to be pounced on. Or in the case of this photo, it’s as if she wants Clyde to spring up and grab her tail.
The “Get Fuzzy” artist captured an old cliche we all know: “dogs love to chase cats”. I have to wonder if that cliche should be changed to “dogs love to chase cats but sometimes cats are asking for it“.
Everyone wants to snuggle up with you when youÆre wearing our fuzzy snow angel outfit. Red velvet halter-bra top and garter belt are garnished with white marabou and red bows. Red/White. S/M, M/L.

I’d bet money (if I had any) that schoolteacher Gillian Gibbons will probably think twice before deferring to her young and oh-so-naive pupils for the final decision at any future toy-naming ceremonies. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if she drops this particular classroom activity from the curriculum altogether.
She tried it once, which I’m sure [...]
So how do you like the new digs? I decided a makeover was in order, and I actually liked one of the cookie-cutter layouts. I don’t have the time or the patience right now to try and figure out how to put a template together in the new blogger – so I’ll stick with this for a while.Thank you so much for the warm welcome! I can’t believe how many of you even remember that my blog exists much less still want to come back and read. It’s made the day a bit easier.I won’t lie – today has been a rough one. I am so thankful I have the greatest friends in the world who will sit and listen (well actually read on IM) all of my craziness. Special shout out to Chicago Jo for being the best listener and to my Swan Benet for being there for me. I’ve been dealing with some passive-aggressivity up in here today and it hasn’t been pretty but I continue to try and let it roll of my shoulders as best I can and go on with my day. I do wish my appetite would come back though. I think that w

This video shows an incredible hole in one by golfer, Fuzzy Zoeller, at the Des Moines, Iowa, Allianz Championship in June, 2006. When you first see it, you begin to think that it is a phony video, but that is not the case according to the official Fuzzy Zoeller web site at www.fuz.com.
The suspect part of the video is when the ball lands right on the fringe of the green and just sits there for

Last month I began to grow a beard. Yet four weeks into the facial furnishing, I utilised my Gillette Mach 3 to remove the fur. This followed an alarming and tacit acceptance into the world of the bearded man, and subsequent (likely subconsciously deliberate) sabotage of my mouth-muffler.Three weeks into the liberation of my chin follicles, I was quite pleased with the result: the hair was acting as a perfect cover for the double chin I inherited from my grandmother, and it fermented a willing illusion that I was entering the realms of manhood previously explored by the likes of Tom Selleck, Carlito's Way-era Al Pacino, and Father Christmas. But then I noticed a remarkable phenomenon. Bearded strangers were smiling at me on the street, like we were masons greeting each other secretly through the covert hail of the lip Caterpillar. One gentleman in Hammersmith was particularly disturbing. I was waiting at a zebra crossing, and he was standing at the opposite traffic lights - spreading h

The show begins in the black and white Fifties with everything from big name labels to bathroom-session home recordings. Sometimes it's good to step back and look at some of the things you've done and ask yourself... is this really useful the way we've done this? Looking at our blogroll the answer was a clear "hell no, it isn't". The average visitor here isn't gonna have much from a list of a couple of hundred blogs with funny names. The assumption that somebody would actually visit all those blogs from a list with no additional information at all is simply ridiculous. So... out goes the blogroll and in come the Fuzzy Blog List. http://fuzzybloglist.blogspot.comOh No! Not again a list! We already have a pretty much definitive list over at Gravy Bread (check it out if you haven't seen it yet).Instead of doing the usual list, we are going to organise blogs based on genre... well roughly of course, since there's so much cross-over room on so many blogs. And - and that's the crucial difference - with reviews. All bloggers are invited to add their own blog in a comment that they can post on the categor
Mozilla recently announced at the Black Hat security conference in Las Vegas that it would release a series of security tools, known as fuzzers, which have previously only been used internally, to the internet at large.
The move is designed to give outside hackers easier ways to test for security flaws in Firefox and other web browsers. Fuzzers are tools that poke, prod and sometimes outright attack a piece of software to test its robustness and identify potential vulnerabilities.

So what’s with the title? I suppose I should’ve made this the first blog but I didn’t. The quote is from a poem I wrote some time ago. The thing I don’t like about Zoloft is that it makes me feel fuzzy. Unfocused. It’s hard for me to get up in the mornings, and it’s hard for me to get started. Once there, though, I’m fine. Once I get to work I’m okay. Once I start working with the dogs I’m okay and having fun.
But if I sit down again for a while, the fuzziness comes back. Ugh. I wish it would stay away.
And to combat this fuzziness, I really need to build structure in my life. I hate structure. I am a rebel at heart. I. Am. A. Rebel! I hate following anyone else’s structure. Heck, I even hate my own. I feel a lot of anxiety when I am forced into a structure, mine or not. It’s not that I don’t like following rules, because rules aren’t so bad. But Structure, to me, is a four letter word. I won’t even define it as discipline, I don’t even want to go there. Yuck with discipline!
At the same time, I need structure to get the
