      Rumor has it that Furtado may have had a secret wedding to fiance Demacio Castellon. This doesn’t really have much credibility accept for the fact that the Canadian songbird was seen sporting a gold wedding band around her current engagement ring. The news of the alleged secret wedding blossomed after singer Natasha Beddingfield mysteriously congratulated Furtado backstage at this weekend's Y100 Jingle Ball in Miami. Earlier in July I confirmed that Nelly was engaged to her Cuban boyfriend however there was no confirmed wedding date.
         My friend Jen posted a great picture of Nelly Furtado sporting what it looks to be as a new wedding ring! I did my own little comparison of Nelly’s ring 5 months ago verse the new picture seen above.
       I guess all we can do now is speculate if and why they had a secret marriage? could there be a little Canadian bun in the oven??

Nelly Furtado is still blonde dispite the fact that, well, it looks like crap. I always say I don’t like Lindsay Lohan with blonde hair but I have to say, it looks a lot better on Lindsay than it does on Nelly. I can’t believe this girl has not figured this out by now. It has been months!! She looks a bit sloppy in general. I hate those pants, she could bust a seem by sitting and I bet you she has a toe in the front. yuck!

This morning I stopped to listen to Nelly Furtado’s song, “Say It Right.” It has a deep longing beat to it. I thumbed through the comments someone left on our page about her. Someone named Caron wrote something I really liked, she said: “You know the first time i heard this song it changed my life.”
It’s amazing how music can take hold of your heart and imagination and leave a powerful and lasting presence on your life. Often we hear of the negative influence of music. I remember the Colorado Columbine murders and how some debated that music really influenced the behavior of Harris and Klebold.

Nelly Furtado became famous in 2000 with the release of her first album Whoa, Nelly!, which contained the breakthrough Grammy Award-winning single “I’m like a Bird.” After giving birth to her baby and releasing the less commercially successful Folklore in 2003, she returned to the top of the charts in 2006 with the release of her album titled Loose and its hit singles “Say It Right”, “Promiscuous”, “Maneater” and “All Good Things (Come to an End).”
Nelly Furtado is well known for using new and different instruments, sounds, vocal styles, genres and languages. This diversity has been fueled by her wide-ranging musical interests and her interest in different cultures of different peoples.
On September 20th, 2003 in Toronto, Nelly gave birth to her daughter, Nevis. The father of the child is DJ Jasper Gahunia. N

The party just got bigger and louder at the “2007 MTV Music Video Awards” as Common, Nelly Furtado, Gym Class Heroes, T-Pain, Cee-Lo, Daniel Merriweather and Lil’ Wayne joined the already explosive performers line-up.
