It was just a week ago when Officer Chuck Cassidy went after the bad guy who robbed a Dunkin Donuts coffee shop and suffered a gun shot that ended his live.The brave officer died honorably while serving the city of brotherly love, that he loved so much.I drove by the memorial that was set up outside the crime scene last night and was able to witness people stopping by in Cassidy's remembrance. NBC10 news trucks showed up later whilst I was in the neighborhood to continue their coverage.Today the city mourns his lost and pays him the most highest respects. Albert Snyder of York, Pa, sobbed as the $10.9 million victory was read in his suit against protesters of his fallen son's funeral.His son, Lance Cpl. Matthew A. Snyder, was killed during his duty as a U.S. Marine in the war in Iraq. He should have been given the peaceful and respectful burial that is befitting of a hero. This is a group of people who claim to be Christians that go around and protest at funerals for our soldiers who were killed in action. These bastards believe that the reason our soldiers die in Iraq are retribution by God because America is accepting of homosexuals. They have carried picket signs at some of the funerals of our fallen soldiers that read things to the effect of “God hates fags” and many other derogatory references. Single Pointe lost one of our own in a tragic car accident this past Sunday, and will close Friday, September 28th and Saturday, September 29th for funeral proceedings.  Ben Aaron Anglin is the brother of Single Pointe’s Asset Director, Lani Anglin and is the brother in law to Brokerage Operations Chief, Benn Rosales.  Broker Michael Rosales is also family to Aaron and will be with the family for both days. It is hard to believe that I have been back to work for a month. The transition has been quite painless, but perhaps a bit sudden. One day I am changing a diaper and the next I am back in court defending the mostly innocent. A large reason for easy transition was our grand-parental support. With both me and Emilie at work and no day care the grandparents came to the rescue. Louise took the first shift and looked after Charlie for a week. Noel and Linda took the second shift and kept the baby alive for a second week. With live in grandparents, Emilie and I got used to having our cooking, cleaning, laundry and house repairs done for us. After the Grandparents left we entered the final sprint of summer wedding madness.Emilie and I have been to seven weddings this year. This means we have had to buy 7 different presents (we are actually 3 behind) and travel to 5 different cities (Montreal, Ohio, Toronto, and Halifax - twice)...... with a baby.
