Continuing with the chaff-cutting, it's now time to tell Animal Collective to suck it hard. I reviewed them two years ago, the last time they played the 'Chella, and found them to be a big steaming pot of suck. Weirdness can be good, but weirdness taken to the point of not making any friggin' musical sense at all, I can do without. Naturally the Indie Kids love 'em, and the Indie Kids can suck it, too.Don't worry, by the way, I'm not going to skip over too many bands, just the truly shitty ones... to wit...Cold War KidsWho they are: A band from Fullerton, CA... which, if you've never been there, you're not missing anything...What they sound like: Perfectly serviceable Indie Rock, dude even sounds a little like Thom Yorke once in a while, though not so much on this one... and you know,
If you're interested in great art a good place to find it is at universities.Cal State Fullerton has a really cool display of Michelango's David, only the twist is that it is "Fallen." By "fallen," they mean literally, it fell and it broke. The pieces were donated to CSUF by Forest Lawn Memorial Park, and are now presented in such a way that you can get close up and personal. I highly recommend this, because you will certainly be amazed at the anatomical detail in this famous work of art. Just the lines of the fingers alone are amazingly accurate. I felt they could come alive at any moment, and reach out. It really gives you a new perspective and appreciation for the talent of the great Michelangelo.Staring this closely into David's face is haunting in a way, and he seems to have an air of sadness to him. (That reminds me. Maybe a trip to Forest Lawn is in order...)It's Friday!!Keep up with me...

PDA Grand Star Dreamer Yeng Constantino was asked if Irish Fullerton's claim are true. She said its not true. She was also asked why Irish said such statement.
Irish Fullerton asked about the crazy incident during the PDA Concert Tour in US.“Ang hirap magsalita kasi they (PDA staff) did not allow me to talk, kasi alam nilang sasabihin ko ang buong katotohanan.“Yes, I brought wine inside the room of Yeng Constantino, pero hindi ko sinabing uminom si Yeng, in fact, nag-smoke siya, we all did kasi last night na, ‘yung sinunog ang carpet ng hotel, that’s not true, sobrang exaggerated naman ‘yan, napaka-unfair on my part kasi ako ang sinira nila, ako ang sinabihang maldita and all that.“Bakit ayaw nila akong ipa-interview sa press? Dahil ayaw nilang magsalita ako? They even write that maldita ako sa mom ko, my God, kung alam lang nila, e, di sampal ang inabot ko sa parents ko?“Maraming hindi totoo sa naisulat, I don’t, I know, isa ka sa nagsulat regarding that issue, galit ka ba sa akin?”“We’re [JayR] not on, magkaibigan lang talaga kami. If people mis-interpreted, that’s fine, pero hindi kami ni Jay-R.
