It should be mandatory that people drive small cars when public transportation is not available. Strategically, it is a smart move. Given that oil is a nonrenewable resource and so much of the world’s civilization relies on its continuance, I am surprised that corporations and governments have not responded sooner to peak oil concerns. Today was not a good trading day for me and it is entirely my own fault. I lost a bunch of money largely due to my biggest position, NVDA getting crushed while I negligently had no stop loss order in. Very confused right now. This blog is where I mainly talk about my day trading but the over all market seem to be at a major cross road. MY 401k is 100 percent invested and has gotten hit pretty good. I have an rollover IRA that has been in about 70 percent cash most of the year except when I try swing trading it. I took one big stupid lose there or I would be feeling ok about it.-The question - where do we go from here? So many of the indicators that I follow are telling me that this is either a major bottom to buy hand over fist or if it does not hold, then we are in for a very bear market. Each day will be a wait and see where the indicators go. If as we rally over the next couple of days, the indicators fall quickly then the best I think we can hope for is a retest of the highs then a retest of the lows. If the indicators do not fall as we go higher, then this could be a great bottom. If we don't rally and the indicators fall, god help us.-However this works not, this is t

We had our usual morning conference call and I set about my most vital task of the day: writing a solo ad to bring in more apprentices.At least that's what I thought my task was. I spent 1.5 hours planning each step of the task (and learning all about our new toy: Central Desktop. It's a virtual office space where teams share their files, their tasks, etc. It's fun! The report, compiled by Independent Insurance Agents of Japan Inc., detailed inconveniences caused to policyholders by the penalties imposed on the two firms, Sompo Japan Insurance Inc. and Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Co. . The two firms faced the administrative penalties because of such irregularities as refusing to pay benefits without due reasons. My measurements have me fitting a size 16 perfectly, but my projects keep coming out too big. I just finished a second pair of slacks that are swimming on me! I normally wear a size 10 in off-the-rack clothing. I worry that if I go down to a size 14 that my projects will come out too small. I did this with a fitted dress that I first made in the size 16 and when it was too big, I made another in the 14 - it's pretty dang tight. (This is NOT a good look for a middle-aged woman.) I read the thread on the boards "Thread nests, jams and wads on the underside " and certainly can relate and when taking the steps to rethread etc, things clear up. But it's becoming exhausting at times to not be able to complete any practice scraps or mendings. I realize it's mostly me and how I do the bobbin or upper thread and I have spent lots of time watching videos to make sure I have the various bobbin steps right. I have a brand new Kenmore 19110 which I like and the pulling thread through the bobbin slots sometimes iffy and pulling up the thread took me a bit to see the loop and have an aha moment. I think I almost have it now but...But here is my question: Are there any brands of sewing machines less prone to these types of issues or is this just a universal beginner's curve
