My people, mi gente...Here s one of the most moving/inspirational pieces from my man NYOIL, it's a tribute to BBoys all over the world and in particular FROSTY FREEZE. I was moved to tears and reminded why I love this culture so much, with all I have in me , although it has been tarnished and tainted by the so called rappers of our time it's MC's like NYOIL who keep pushing the TRUTH. E.G Radio, ExtravaGangsta Radio,
Today was bad. Bad, bad, bad. My three year old peed on the carpet three times. I sewed for 8 hours trying to get through my pig, beaver and penguin orders, I couldn't smile at my husband for the life of me and my tenants wouldn't stop calling. At 7 pm I was falling asleep at the sewing machine and ready to hit the sack. As I got up and headed for my bedroom I remembered that I'm on a diet. Brilliant. That meant I could go off my diet. And we all know that's the best imaginable way to finish up a failed day.Hoping the Carb Gods weren't watching, I snuck to the kitchen and dumped all our remaining ice cream into a big bowl, poured melted Dove chocolate over the top and then topped it all off with a six inch tall tower of whipped cream. As I carried the bowl carefully to the couch,
I haven't tried this just yet (waiting for things to warm up a bit), however I've heard it's great. The recipe looks pretty simple, let me know if you give it a go. Wendy's Chocolate Frosty (original from recipezaar):1 16oz tub of Cool Whip1 14oz can of Sweetened Condensed Milk1 Gallon chocolate milkAdd Cool Whip and sweetened condensed milk to an ice cream maker then add chocolate milk to fill line. Let maker run until mixture is smooth and creamy. Don't have an ice cream maker. Freeze the Cool Whip, chill the condensed milk and make a few ice cube trays worth of chocolate milk. Place it all in a blender and add chocolate milk until mixture is smooth and creamy. Enjoy, my mouth is already watering.
It might have been a little frosty as we pushed back the curtains but there were definite signs of spring in the air. Looking out across the fields from our conservatory, we could see the little bunny rabbits (can you spot them) running around the field. Sooty and Tia (our cats) took their first tentative [...]

This is a scenario you will not so soon find in Berlin. There is no snow in this picture. Everything is frozen and covered by ice like in the photo of the previous post. A perfect view for Christmas.

Oh he's a cutie curly guy! If you're looking for a little one with poodle curls and lots of sweetness, he's your guy. Frosty is a Poodle, Maltese mix. He can be shy sometimes in the kennels due to all the noise and hustle and bustle, but if he's out in the yards, he's really playful. We think Frosty may have some Bichon or Wheaten in him as well, but regardless, he's as cute as a button! We found Frosty currently being cared for by Animal Control Shelter & Services in Vancouver, BC. The shelter will keep dogs until a new and loving home is found for them. For more information about Frosty, click here!
This is the time of year that television stations start rolling the holiday classics.
It doesn't matter how many times we see Frosty the Snowman return each Christmas, we're still a little sad when he starts to melt.
These animated specials have also provided some classic Christmas songs. So, in honor of Frosty, Rudolph, the Chipmunks and all the other holiday characters, we're offering our list of the best songs from Christmas cartoons.
Top Cartoon Christmas Songs
7. The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993)—"What's This"
One of the newer Christmas flicks, this story of the mayor of Halloween Town discovering the magic of Christmas is largely a hit with the teenage set and fans of Tim Burton's unusual visual style.
6. The Year Without a Santa Claus (1974)—"The Heat Miser Song"
Like the Grinch, the Heat Miser hates Christmas. Only instead of stealing the holiday cheer, the Heat Miser plans to melt all the snowy fun. This year, NBC is showing a new live-action version

The weather outside hasn't been frightful, but it's definitely been getting cold, which inspires this week's Monday Photo Shoot:
Your Monday Photo Shoot: Show something frosty. A frosted window pane, a frosty mug of beer, a pet coming in from the cold -- if it's frosted, it's in. If it's not particularly frosty where you are, or you don't have any frost laden pictures in your archives: Fake
We wrap up our week of music from Children’s Christmas shows with this old favorite.
Down to the village,
With a broomstick in his hand,
Running here and there all
Around the square saying,
Catch me if you can.
He led them down the streets of town
Right to the traffic cop.
And he only paused a moment when
He heard him holler “Stop!”
For Frosty the snow man
Had to hurry on his way,
But he waved goodbye saying,
“Don’t you cry,
I’ll be back again some day.”
Thumpetty thump thump,
Thumpety thump thump,
Look at Frosty go.
Thumpetty thump thump,
Thumpety thump thump,
Over the hills of snow.

Frosty is not yet 2 years old. She got out of her back yard and was hit by a car. Her owners didn't want to pay to have her pelvis and leg repaired, so she became a CHAAMP dog.She is a lively girl even now while healing from her surgery! She will need an active family. She loves to snuggle and gets along very well with children. We found Frosty currently being cared for by the great folks at Chesapeake Area Alaskan Malamute Protection. Their mission is to rescue Alaskan Malamutes in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, and DC. They rescue from dog pounds and other bad situations, get the dogs healthy, and find new, loving homes for them. For more information about Frosty, click here!

It is going to be interesting to see how Ahmadinejad is greeted at Columbia. If the reaction of the students is anything like liberals in general he will receive a heroes welcome. Anyone seen as an enemy of America, whether its Hugo Chavez, Fidel Castro or Ahmadinejad, will be treated as best friends by the left. Keep in mind I am not referring to everyday working Democrats on the street. I am talking about the types you see spewing their vitriol at America at places like MoveOn.org, DailyKos of Democratic Underground. I hope the media puts some of the Democrats on the spot with some hard-hitting questions about Ahmadinejad. He has American blood on his hands. ~RJH ABC News story link Ahmadinejad Arrives in N.Y. to Frosty ReceptionIranian President Plans U.N. In the bleak midwinter Frosty wind made moan, Earth stood hard as iron, Water like a stone; Snow had fallen, snow on snow, Snow on snow, In the bleak midwinter, Long ago.

We have so much frost this morning it almost looks as if the ground were snow covered… I wish! I haven’t seen any snow at all this winter. If I weren’t so comfy sitting here with my coffee, in my flannel PJ’s, I’d setup the tripod and go take a picture to share… but it’s cold out there! Too dark to take a picture without the tripod.Yesterday I cut out my binding and have most of it on the quilt. It’s time for me to stop using a 3 inch strip of fabric, double folded for my bindings. I make 1/2 inch bindings, and they’re just too wide. This is probably my worst binding ever, but fortunately the quilt isn’t a gift and we’ll live with it, I don’t feel like ripping it out, cutting it smaller and resewing it all.On this quilt, the “Stars” extend into the borders. With a 1/2 inch binding, I’ve cut off all the tips of the stars. Doh! Plus, my machine (

IT'S CHRISTMAS #16The Cocteau Twins did a great version of 'Frosty The Snowman' which was released in 1992. It was originally on the various artists compilation 'Volume 5'. Here it is today as my christmas choice.Cocteau Twins - Frosty The Snowman
We decorated our house for Christmas and the front gate now is full of little figurines of angels and snowmen. An idea strike me! Let's do our own Frosty the snowman!Materials needed:Unwanted magazine White paper Cotton wool Coloured Crepe Paper Glue How to do it: This snowman comes in 2 parts. 1st, the snowman, 2nd, accessories/clothes for the snowman. Tear pages for magazines and squashed it into 2 balls, till it is big enough. Wrap the balls with white paper. Put glue on the balls. Stick cotton wool all over. Use coloured crepe paper to make accessories/clothes for the snowman. 哥哥 and I made a hat, scarf and a broomstick for Frosty.
Practically every one of my sons jeans have holes in the knees. These were thrift jeans so they really arent worth the time for patching them (that would mean opening the seam, putting the patch and then sewing it back up. Ick)
I was wondering if anyone had any really creative ideas for turning them into some neat shorts!! I could cut them and turn the hem but would like to give them some um
