Toney Freeman was asked to take part in The Jerry Springer Show but not as someone invited but as the guy that was supposed to separate fights. Well, a bodybuilder should not really do that but it would be interesting to see what went on in that episode. Toney Freeman basically made an appearance as a special guest bouncer. He did declare that one of his sponsors, Headblade, is also sponsoring the head of security on the show, Steve Wikos, and also other individuals involved in The Jerry Springer Show. Kansas State was expecting big things this year from sophomore quarterback Josh Freeman. Unfortunately, last week those expectations had to be tempered a little bit when Freeman couldn’t even pass the pre-camp conditioning test. All he had to do was run three 300 yard shuttle runs in under 50 seconds, but he failed on two different attempts. So while numerous offensive and defensive lineman hit the practice field, the Wildcats quarterback couldn’t practice because he was too slow. The good news is that Freeman can now stop worrying. Over the weekend he passed the test, and after missing two days of practice he was finally allowed to step onto the field. With the hardest part now out of the way, there’s nothing to stop Freeman from leading K-State to an undefeated season.
