And they say he lacks appeal for the working class. Well, no lattes served at this joint. My question is, at what precise moment did the purveyors of "Famous Hot Doggery" lose their faith in government?

Retired General Tommy Franks Joins Chuck E Cheese Board of Directors
Yes, you read that right. General Tommy Franks, who led the invasions of both Afghanistan and Iraq and has been a supporter of this quagmire, has now been appointed to the board of directors of Chuck E Cheese. How fitting that someone who sought to the most violent way imaginable to resolve an issue is now heading a restaurant that seems to have problems with violence, more violence and even more violence. It is strange as it is usually the other way around with this administration, as they would consider being a Chuck E Cheese board member as a qualification for an important post.Of course, if you thought it was time for me to post a vintage Chuck E Cheese commercial, then you would be right.

      Update: Franks Contract Details
According to ESPNews, the New York Jets signed tight end Bubba Franks to a one-year deal worth $1.65 million. Franks, 30, was a first-round draft choice by the Green Bay Packers in the 2000 NFL Draft. Over his eight-year career, Franks caught 256 passes for 2,300 yards and scored 32 touchdowns. Last season however, Franks missed [...]

      Jets Sign TE Bubba Franks
Rich Cimini of the New York Daily News is reporting that the New York Jets have agreed to terms with former Packers TE Bubba Franks. Although he has slowed down a bit, having a 6′6″ target behind Chris Baker can only help. However, I have to believe that this signing will ultimately result in either [...]

Packers TE Franks on the Way Out?
Training camp is only 2 and a half weeks old, yet it appears that Packers tight end Bubba Franks may be without a job.  Probably the most pressing issue is whether he will be on the team’s 53-man roster by the first game of the regular season, which is on September 9 against the Philadelphia Eagles.  Franks didn’t exactly help his cause this past Saturday in the Packers’ preseason opener against the Pittaburgh Steelers when he dropped a seemingly easy catch on a 3rd-and-8 situation. But as team director of pro personnel Reggie McKenzie told Rob Demovsky of the Green Bay Press-Gazette on Monday, “Hopefully, he can rebound from that.  I think he’s having a solid camp.  He hasn’t been dropping a whole bunch of balls, so hopefully that doesn’t become an issue.  Hopefully, he’s not pressing.  You don’t need to press.”  That comment from McKenzie sounds like the Pack are lacking, quality-wise, in the TE department

In Loving Memory : Sydney Franks
Sydney Franks was in my son’s Pre-K class this year. They had an unusually small class so all of the kids were very close. She had a heart transplant at a very early age, but nothing got her down. She had a smile that lit up the room and a laugh that warmed your heart. [...]

The letter from Antoinette Franks brother Adam is ...
The letter from Antoinette Franks brother Adam is interesting. He says:Yes, I am incarcerated at the infamous Louisana State Penitentiary known as "Angola". Where the rodeos are held. Things have changed considerably from the old days, but theres a few killings and rapes that go on, which are not made known to the public. Then he goes on later to say:...I am 6'5 1/2 " tall, and 287 lbs and very muscular built. I am also a 3rd degree black belt in karate. Which along with other aacquired "Special Operational Tactical Skills From The Military And Police Dept Swat Teams," has landed me in High Prority threat to security and High Priority escape risk. Also including the fact that Im a former computer hacker and was a fugitive once for 7 years. I also have many other special skills which surfaced and caused the authorities to wonder how I had aquired them. Kelly, I usually refrain from telling people this about me, becuase it tends to frighten them away thinking that Im a bad person. Whe
