Bei der Modellierung/Simulation von Gitarrenverstärkern nebst Gitarrenboxen und deren Mikrofonierung gibt es ja nun die unterschiedlichsten Ansätze. Einer davon ist der rein Rechnergestütze wo ebenfalls mit verschiedenen Ansätzen und Softwaremodellen gearbeitet wird um eine Simulierung und möglichst naturgetreuen Klangabbildung eines tatsächlichen Gitarrenverstärkers nachzubilden. Daher kann man nicht immer aus der tatsächlichen Rechenkraft des jeweils verwendeten Prozessors, auf die Güte einer Simulation sprechen.

Es soll besser klingen als die Konkurrenten von Boss, Roland VG-8, VOX Tonelab und Line6 POD und dies sowohl beim simulieren der Gitarrenverstärker, Ampboxen, Mikrofonierung, als auch bei den Efefekten an sich. I love fractals. They were a revelation to me when I first learned about them, as I imagine it was for science to learn there really are patterns in nature. “Mandelbrot’s reality has shapes undreamed of by Euclid, and surprises that ridicule the idea of order…clouds, coastlines, tree branches, commodity prices, word frequencies, turbulence in fluids, stars in the sky, a reputation, fame, the passage of history itself… - all are fractal shapes.” (Morrow, Lance. In my book I suggest awareness of fractals might help spark the consciousness necessary to create a world outside of what are now considered to be our boundaries. Some researchers believe ancient civilizations were processing fractals long ago, evidence of which is found in ancient carvings and artwork. The creator of this video also created a poster of the what he calls the "blue oyster spiral" in 1993 that took 3 days to create using 34 high end Macs.P.S. The song is by a group called "Big Pig".
