Foxit Reader ist ein sehr schneller PDF Reader. Sowohl lokale als auch Online Dokumente lassen sich sehr schnell öffnen.

I have to say that I am starting to hate Adobe reader with it's constant need to install updates every two weeks!!! And the fact that it has so many features built into it that it just sits there and loads all of that crap on startup, which takes about a good 2 minutes! On January 30th, I wrote a posting on Foxit which is a better PDF reader than the Adobe Acrobat Reader as I had trouble with new Acrobat Reader. I still use Foxit and am quite happy with it. Today, I am writing on a Foxit PDF Preview Handler which was created by Tim Heuer and allows you to preview PDF documents in Outlook 2007. Right now, this PDF preview program works with Windows Vista and Outlook 2007 and Tim is working on one to work with Windows XP and Outlook 2007. One of the features of Outlook 2007 is the ability to preview documents that are attached in an email in the preview pane. Currently, Outlook 2007 allows you to preview Microsoft Office documents, but this PDF Preview allows you to view PDF’s in the preview pane of Outlook. I mentioned earlier, the only software problem I had was loading Adobe Acrobat 8 Windows Vista version on my computer and so I went with Foxit which is a better, slimmer, breezing-fast launch speed and amazingly rich feature set.

I hate Adobe Acrobat! It’s slow to load, slow to open files, and even slower to close and go away.
