Paris said “People have said I’m adopting four blonde babies. That’s retarded!   The Ravens kickoff game will be getting a boost in 2007, as rookie WR Yamon Figurs has been tearing it up when it comes to showing game-breaking speed in the kickoff return department. So now there are reports that rapper DMX has a dog abuse case on his hands. Not only did police find unattended pitbulls roaming around, they found three dog corpses, one of which “seemed to be burned.” “Earl (DMX’s real name) had a caretaker, who obviously wasn’t taking care. Earl loves those dogs.” That’s bullshit. Who the hell doesn’t know that they’re are three dog corpses on their premises. Obviously they were his previous dogs and why the hell weren’t they properly disposed of. And why in the world would one appear to be burned unless they were trying to cremate the dog themselves. Some people just shouldn’t have pets and he’s one of them.

Maybe it's the recent great weather coupled with a place that I love, but it seems like it took moving to the big city to turn me into an outdoor gal. Yesterday I hopped off the train at 42nd Street and walked to 23rd and over an avenue or two to get my eyebrows threaded and run other errands.And today I went down to the Lower East Side for City Walk #5, and then decided to walk up Second Avenue from East Houston to my favorite $10-pedicure nail salon on East 26th Street (roughly 27 blocks). After receiving a french pedicure and a quick manicure to match, I switched from my tennis shoes to flip-flops and hiked another 32 blocks to The Container Store on Lexington & 58th. Finally with bags in tow, I crossed town to 59th Street-Columbus Circle to catch an uptown 1 train.I might have worked off some calories, but I put them right back on with a small cup of ice cream from Cold Stone Creamery, which I consumed along several blocks on Second Avenue.

Recently I've been attending a church group on Wednesday mornings and one of the topics was money. It's interesting to see what the Bible says about money and wealth. Basically it has the same morals as the famous story of Ebeneezer Scrooge in the Christmas Carol. You can't take your worldly possesions with you and it's not what you have, but rather what you do with your time here on earth. The Bible states that it is very hard for the rich to get into heaven because they find it hard to part from their posessions. It is truly ashame when your possessions begin to own you. Example you buy a huge house and then become a slave to it, working harder and more hours to pay for it, ironically you end up never getting to spend time at home and can't enjoy it.
