Foo Fighters are set to play Wembley stadium next year on June 7. The plan at the moment is to have the gig broadcast live on Radio 1 which would definitely pull in more viewers for the radio station while further promoting the band in the UK. Tickets go on sale at 10am this Friday (November 23) and although there will probably be around 75,000 seating tickets and 15,000 standing tickets going on sale I really wouldn't expect these tickets to last more than a few days, so get them while you can.

The Foo Fighters have announced details of a super special show next summer. They’ll play London’s Wembley Stadium on Saturday 7th June next year, with the show being broadcast live on Radio 1.
