Hi everybody! I regularly get sent videos to look at, so as Saturday’s are completely empty (plus I don’t want them cluttering up the week - smart blogging people!), I’m going to post my favourite one from the week. Here’s today’s video. I got sent this trailer for a video game called Folklore, which is a game for the most rubbishest of game consoles, the PS3. From the looks of the trailer, it seems to be similar to Final Fantasy. I’ll be honest, I don’t know much about the game, but the trailer did steer enough from the “Boring Video Game Trailer That Tries To Much To Be A Movie” garbage that there is nowadays. Continuando con las entradas sobre canciones del Folklore Venezolano mas difundidas y versionadas a nivel internacional y después de haber hablado en otra oportunidad de Moliendo café de José Manzo Perroni , esta vez les traigo un video de 1991 del tema Caballo Viejo de Simón Díaz, interpretado por su autor junto al gran tenor Placido Domingo. Por fin he podido probar con tranquilidad la demo de Folklore (PS3), disponible a través de la PSNetwork. Por si alguno no ha tenido la oportunidad de descargarla todavía voy a hacer un pequeño análisis de lo que os podéis encontrar. Ojeando por Internet en distintos blogs, me encuentro en PS3FanBoy lo que realmente, por su aventura, acción y calidad grafica lo que puede ser el, sin duda, el RPG del año (si lo respeta el FFXII).Ver el vídeo que sin duda merece invertir en ello el tiempo. Folklore es una de las exclusivas para PS3 que mejor pinta tiene. Desarrollado por Game Republic y editado por SCEA, el juego nos hará ponernos en la piel de Ellen y Keats, dos personajes con distintas motivaciones que llegan a un pueblo de la costa irlandesa atraídos por rumores sobre fenómenos paranormales. Allí, ambos acaban entrando en un mundo sobrenatural en el que podrán capturar las almas de sus enemigos y utilizarlas en su provecho. Como podéis ver en el tráiler, el aspecto técnico del juego es muy bueno y además parece que hará un uso intensivo de las capacidades de detección de movimiento del Sixaxis en los combates. En este nuevo trailer de Folklore, con una música muy a lo Burton o mejor dicho muy a lo Danny Elfman, el juego tiene un aspecto bastante diferente y la atmosfera creada por la música y el diseño en general de los personajes de este extraño cuento, parece que tendrá continuidad en un maravilloso juego final.
