It also got the thumbs-up from Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, who said the Flyer offered a remarkable view of 'our beautiful city' after a ride on it. Noting that the 165m-tall wheel was the latest addition to Singapore's constantly growing and changing skyline, Mr Lee pointed out the many things that were happening around Marina Bay, including the upcoming integrated resort and F1 circuit. The "Singapore Flyer", the country's newest observation wheel, opened on Tuesday and is set to rival the London Eye.The Singapore Flyer stands at around 165 meters tall, and bills itself as the world's largest giant observation wheel. The London Eye is slightly lower, at around 135 meters. The Singapore Flyer boasts of around 28-capsules each capable of carrying 28 people.Officials say the wheel is completely different from the London Eye which is built on a three-dimensional structure. The Singapore Flyer is a giant observation wheel in Singapore. The observation wheel started rotating on February 11, 2008. I am slowly recovering this morning from our first event of the year. It was only a small event but nevertheless an enjoyable one. We provided a couple of Victorian style games units to a nightclub venue in London which makes it the earliest event of the year for us. They went down well and I think we could see some repeat bookings from the venue. We finished at two am and by the time we had dismantled and packed everything it was about two thirty. It must have taken us an hour to get through the traffic and out of London, the place was really buzzing. One thing I did notice was the catering supplier who operated at the side of us selling Thai food. In this edition of Personal Finance Resources, I am going to show you one of the flyers I put together for a piece of property I am managing. I am using this flyer in an advertising campaign right now, so this a real live example. I used Microsoft’s Publisher to put the flyer together, and was able to create something very professional, in only about 30 minutes to an hour. Some key points to remember when composing a real estate flyer: Your key product/service/benefit to the client should be at the top of the page. In this particular example, I am wanting to rent a nice house near a lake. So I just simply put “House for Rent!” at the top. The reader is very aware of what the ad is about just by glancing at the title. Directly after the key action item, you need to have something that really draws the attention. In this example, I am playing on people’s love for the water in telling them just how close to the lake this property is located. Pictures Any qualit
