Check out this episode from NPR's From The Top featuring the great Bela Fleck and a young bassist named Mike Thurber. Just visit this page and click the 'Listen' button at the top. I love From The Top. To me, it is one of the best examples of how to engage young performers and audiences. I'm sure that any young musician participating on this program treasures the experience for the rest of their life, and the audiences for both the live tapings and the radio (and now podcast) programs are young and fresh. If you're a big sticky note person like I am where you have sticky notes on your computer and sticky notes on your desktop, then you may like Fleck! It's an interesting service that allows you to add sticky notes to web pages. It's very simple to use, all you have to do is go to Fleck.com , type in a web site address, and use the toolbar at the bottom of your browser to add sticky notes! Then you can send your annotated page to anyone for viewing!It's a great way to collaborate quickly without having to do very much. Of course, it doesn't have a lot of features that a full-fledged collaboration tool would have such as the ability to make changes in real time with other users or the ability to draw lines, shapes, etc. But if you just want to mark up a page for your own reference or to make a quick point, then this is your tool. Another cool feature is to download the FireFox or IE extension that allows you to view all of the public sticky notes that have been created for a web page
