So I just talked to a Sony Rep that comes into my store ( I work for Best Buy) and I was asking him about the a900. He told me that the company had sent out preliminary pricing on the a900 about a month ago to the reps. He said its not nailed down yet but that they are aiming at the sub-$2000 market. Japanese automaker Honda are hoping that their new flagship 2008 Honda Accord will help them achieve a milestone which is to sell over 400,000 a year of their luxury sedan and coupe cars something which they have not be able to do since the 2001 model. Honda are hoping that the bigger will be better with the new 2008 Honda Accord, the car has more horsepower, a larger interior and Accord designers have giving the vehicle a more aggressive look.
Since 2004 the sales of the Honda Accord have slumped, in that year sales feel by at least 3.1 percent, in 2005 the sales dropped to 4.2 percent, and then last year in 2006 the sales of the Honda Accord fell 3.7 percent so the automaker really need the 2008 Honda Accord to revive this once great model.
Honda only managed to sell 354,441 units last year, but last year’s car was a designed way back in 2003 so the 2008 Accord has been a long time coming for Honda.

I recorded and mixed one of the most popular articles on the Anvil today as a podcast, Don’t tell me to accept Islam, and added it to the sidebar podcast player. Goldman Sachs' Global Alpha hedge fund fell almost 12 percent in the last two weeks, bringing this year's decline to 16 percent.This year's drop in the $9 billion fund, managed by Mark Carhart and Raymond Iwanowski, follows the loss of about 9 percent in 2006, said fund investors.The $1.7 trillion hedge-fund industry was roiled by losses in the credit and equities markets during the past two months.Two hedge funds managed by Bear Stearns Cos. collapsed and SowoodCapital Management LP, run by a former manager of Harvard University's endowment, is shutting down after a 60 percent loss.Goldman spokesman declined to comment about the fund's performance.
An affiliate of GIC Real Estate, the property investment arm of the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation, has agreed to purchase Chapterhouse Holdings Limited whose primary asset is the Merrill Lynch Financial Centre (MLFC) at 2 King Edward Street. MLFC is leased by Merrill Lynch for a term of 15 years with renewal rights extending significantly beyond the initial term.
2007 06 13 Nokia opened up their first flagship concept shop in Israel (today is the grand opening). It is over 150 square meters big and costed half a million dollars to build. It has a futuristic design with lots of glass and the space is divided into 4 sections: HEAR, SEE, DO, PLAY. This is certainly a good move since there are already tons of Nokia fans there in Israel. Although Canon’s new EOS-1D Mark III digital SLR camera costs $3,999, it has features that will likely trickle down to less expensive cameras over time. For example, its EOS Integrated Cleaning System vibrates the glass cover over its image sensor for 3.5 seconds when you turn the camera on, to help remove dust. You can remotely view what the camera is seeing from your computer, via USB cable. It can continuously shoot 10 frames per second, with bursts of 110 large JPEGs or 30 raw files at once. Raw files can be saved at 1/4 resolution rather than the full 10.1 megapixels, to conserve file size. It can add location information to each picture from an optional GPS (Global Positioning System) unit, and it can wirelessly transmit images with an optional transmitter. The Pisoni Vineyard, Santa Lucia Highlands, Pinot Noir from Siduri is their flagship Pinot, and rightfully so. The 2004 is full bodied with dark, lush fruit and smooth, silky tannins. One of the best Pinot Noirs I have had from them. Robert Parker gives it a respectable 94 and the Wine Spectator rating is 91.
