Slaynn the mighty WARLOCK of dOOm!1!!one!1!!eleventy!!!!111 MuahAHhAhAhAH!!!1!!!I ended up using Cathaal for his name. I suppose that will do. Correction to the above, Cathaal the WARLOCK of d00m!1!!1! Anywho, the noob area is pretty bland but
I strolled into my local Verizon store this week to play with the Storm, the new Blackberry phone and latest touch-screen device to hit the marketplace. I am a huge fan of touch-screen devices, and love that all the top OEMs (original equipment manufacturers) are pumping these devices into the marketplace to compete with Apple. The Sprint Instinct (by Samsung, home brewed operating system), T-Mobi
That very much sums up how I felt.
There’s really not too much to say, it’s pretty simple and unorginal idea. Girl goes to school hoping for tru wuv, girl crosses wrong mama’s boy, girls finds herself tormented by boy. Probably the biggest twist is the fact she’s gay, rather then straight. Oh yeah, and the crossdressing [...]
Recently I wrote about a new countertop hydroponics system called the “Powerplant Mini” from Prepara. They were nice enough to send an evaluation unit so I could let you all know how it all works.
After getting home from FedEx, I tore into the package and opened up the box. Here is what waited for me [...]
I updated my Xbox 360 with the new Xbox Experience about 4 days ago and in those few days I have had to endure two full days of power outages and no internet. It’s been rather horrible and I am most upset that I have not been able to play with my new Xbox [...]
I’ve posted previously on the multiplayer beta of Red Alert 3 and it was apparent how I felt about it (not so thrilled). So what do I think of the single-player campaign and LAN play, the pieces of the game that I really wanted to see. I said previously I hope EA did it right and so here is my initial impressions. The Bottom Line: It’s fun! Yes, my hope that the campaign and network play wo
Well, it certainly is a month of rejoicing for gamers. Not only are there Fable 2 and Far Cry 2 to sink our teeth into, now we've got Bethesda's latest installment: Fallout 3. And let me tell you, this one's a doozy. I've spent a good 4 or so hours on this game and I've only skimmed the surface, maybe not even the surface, the surface tension. The first thing you realize when you start this g
Insignia GPS first impressionsI've been spending the past few days getting to know the Best Buy Insignia NS-CNV10 GPS. This 3.5' model, like its bigger brother, sports text-to-speech, a cellular connection, Google Local search and no connection fees for the first year. The 4.3' model is pictured above, but except for the phone button (Bluetooth is found only on the NS-CNV20) it gives you a good id
Insignia GPS NS CNV-10 Connected GPS - Unboxing & First Impressions Review The new Insignia Connected GPS unit is shipping and I thought I would grab a new Insignia GPS NS CNV-10 Connected GPS over the weekend to check out the Best Buy house brand's new connected GPS out. The CNV-10 and CNV-20 units just became available and are the second brand of connected GPS to hit the US market; the firs
Tytania is one of the series I've been wanting watch ever since all the fall 2008 previews came out. I'm a big sci-fi fan, so of course I wouldn't pass up a series based on novels by acclaimed sci-fi author Yoshiki Tanaka. To be honest, I have not watched the Legend of Galactic Heroes, so I'm not too sure what to expect, but I think the series will at least be decent given the generally positive r
Chaos;Head is one of the animes I've been meaning to check out for this season. The series is based on a visual novel. It supposedly falls into the psychological and horror genres, which are not genres that I usually go after but I want to something other than sci-fi or romantic comedies. So here we go.Here's brief summary of the overall story and the 1st episode:Takumi Nishijo is a true otaku (in
I had to make one last “Distro-Hop”. First, I felt pretty bad about basically not even trying w/ Mandriva’s RC a few blog posts back, and I’ve read stellar reviews about how great of a job Mandriva did with implementing KDE 4. I wanted back into the land of KDE so badly, there was no [...]
To Aru Majutsu no Index is another series that wasn't originally included in my fall 2008 anime list, but after reading some of the other blog posts on the first episode I decided to check it out.Talk about your bad luck...What would you do if a nun was hanging on your balcony railings?Yum yum, rancid plastic sandwich + Touma's hand. Yum yum.To Aru Majutsu no Index is a sci-fi, fantasy action seri
The HTC Dream G1 (the first Google Phone) was presented yesterday by the U.S. operator T-Mobile, and the first returns are published on the Web.We can not say that the device is beautiful. It is not worthy of an iPhone, Touch HD or Samsung Omnia level design. But we will say it is probably not a major worry for a device-oriented "business", but it may be for a machine "consumer".The keyboard is no

Google Chrome is the latest web browser released by internet Search giant Google just a few days back with whom Google tried to bring the best of the existing browsers at a single place . Now that I’ve finally got the 2.1 upgrade installed, I must say, the early returns are looking promising.
Up until now when friends and family have asked me whether or not I thought they should get an iPhone, I’ve been unable to say yes for one reason: the ridiculously poor battery life. I tend to be [...]
So I downloaded the Star Wars Force Unleashed demo yesterday after reading on Kotaku that it had been released a few days ago (I'm behind on news). What can I say about the demo… it's awesome? Besides a few things like how it takes a bit to get used to force throwing and how there are many repetitive items strewn about, the gameplay itself is very satisfying. Throwing stuff at enemies, slici
Klaust^M_012 Inserito originariamente da Abriael I just concluded my first gaming session during the Preview Weekend Plus. I will say it straight away and spare the time of the ones that might be in an hurry: I never ever seen a game take such a leap forward in little more than a week. The game has been improved, polished, cherished and cuddled by the developers to such an extent that I do
The other day I launched AFFpinions.com, an opinion based website about affiliate networks. AFFpinions.com simply let the networks pitch to users and affiliates or users who are a part of that specific network get to write their own personal experience. This helps others decide if they want to join a specific network and consider branding for the networks. But in building a site, I needed a plugin
Google released this week the first version of their browser, called Chrome, and I decided to give it a quick look. I’ve played with Firefox (even v3) and Safari (after Apple aggressively pushed it to my computer) but always came back to Internet Explorer, so I wanted to see if there is anything here that would make me abandon the Microsoft browser and I must say that from a first impression,
Last night I downloaded and installed Google Chrome, Google’s latest creation, an internet web browser. At first I wasn’t really all that interested as I’m quite infatuated with FireFox 3, but I figured it wouldn’t hurt to check it out.
When you first open up Google Chrome, you get a very sleek and minimalist interface that [...]
This was the first thing I noticed about Google Chrome (Google’s new Web browser). It really is blazing fast, much faster then Firefox. It terms of page loading time and startup time for the browser itself, both are incredible. It also imported all my favorites/saved passwords/browsing history from Firefox upon installation (optional of course) , [...]
Well, I was going to wake up in the middle of the night to be one of the first to download Google Chrome, Goole’s brand spanking new web browser, but that didn’t happen. I woke up at about the right time, sleepy and blurry-eyed, and decided that I shouldn’t get up with the excuse that [...]
Google's browser called Chrome is out of the box and of course, we had to take a look. So after a quick download and a quick install, we started to browse the web just to see how it feels. And right now, it doesn't feel very different from Firefox 3. Chrome might be a little faster, but it's hard to tell on a fast computer. Also, my Google Chrome does not have any plug-ins installed right now. Ov
So - just saw the live webcast of the Google Chrome launch talk and have just downloaded it and thought I'd blog my initial impressions.Pros:1. Really quick download and install. Internet Explorer 8 beta 1/2 installation took me a few minutes to download and even more to install. Chrome took under a minute to download, install and load youtube!2. Finally some proper competition for IE and Firefox
Google has released its own web browser named "Chrome". Google claims their new browser combines a minimal design with sophisticated technology to make the web faster, safer, and easier. Eldar has published his first thoughts on both N85 & N79, which were officially launched by Nokia yesterday. One of the N85's highlights is its 2.6 inch OLED-display capable of 16 million colors. While these bare numbers might not tell you much, the picture quality will for sure - the N85 is an enormous improvement over the Nokia N95 with its brighter and juicier colors along with very readable
Smape has published a first impressions article on N79 & N85.N85 and N79 turned out to have a rather ambiguous nature, making it hard to tell for sure which niche either of the two was meant to occupy. The junior N79 model can be mistakenly attributed with being a replacement or a sequel of N78. It's simply another minor portfolio expansion with a handful of parameters tweaked to differ from t

It seems that Ricardo Karam decided to Celebrate the revolution by on his own way ,after all he found a treasure that can return him back to the screen as the queens and kings' TV host after the closure of MTV Lebanon. Last he made what I considered a hit when He managed for the first time to host the former King of Egypt Ahmed Fouad II to speak on TV about his memories. Karam's TV show is a
At last amongst all the iPhone hype, Palm released a new Treo after what seems like many years after the 700wx. While a lot of people will say that the looks aren’t that great compared to flashy devices like the iPhone and HTC Touch, and I’d have to agree that the Treo isn’t the greatest [...]
(Photo Credit: TV Guide Website)Welcome to the Big Brother 10 House. What a difference a season or two makes in the Big Brother house, last season (earlier this year), Big Brother fans were given a completely different twist of the houseguests playing the game as couples and the season before, a mole player playing the game for the fans, but as much as those brought an interesting twist, for this
Whether you are thinking of selling your home or it is currently "on the market" Curb Appeal is one of the most important areas to address! Think about it - the first impression of your house from a buyer's perspective is when they drive up the street and spot your house.
What does your home convey? Is it warm and inviting? Does it sparkle and "pop" with pizzazz? Here
Upon first glance, the 2008 Acura MDX is impressive. The look is unique enough to make you feel like an individual, but not so crazy bizarre that you would be embarrassed to drive through the carpool lane in it. With three rows of seats, that leaves plenty of room for the entire carpool.
Don't be misled by the term SUV. The 2008 Acura MDX is a full size SUV that has just as much sport as it does

The thing about having other people plan for trips is that I end up not researching about the place. Sure, I’ve read about Coron in my Lonely Planet book, as well as Dive Guide in the Philippines, but other than that, I didn’t really do as much research as I did for my earlier trips. [...]

In line with expectations, Polaroid’s new PoGo ZINK portable printer (or, to give it it’s full, somewhat elongated title, Polaroid’s PoGo ZINK Digital Instant Mobile Photo Printer) looks set to become available tomorrow (June 6) as originally touted in Polaroid’s previous press releases, though initial reactions have been, at best, ...
by Dave MindemanJust some first impressions about the budget deal. Keep in mind that a lot of the details are still forthcoming:1) Central Corridor: YES! Finally got this off the ground. Lot of work to do as we go forward, but at least the state is still in the running for Federal money.2) Other Bonding: The Governor got his bonding projects in as well. Looks like the Central Corridor veto w
5 1/2 inch oxford high heel pumps - first impressions....Here are some first photos of my new oxford style high heeled pumps. I just got these shoes yesterday - they really look very nice. Something different then my other high heels. These oxford style high heels are made of black leather and have again a 5 1/2 inch (14 cm) high heel. So I now own two shoes with such high heels. I was a very warm

Tomorrow marks the publication of Rick Perlstein’s nearly 800-page history Nixonland: The Rise Of A President And The Fracturing Of America. Over the weekend the book was reviewed by Newsweek’s Evan Thomas, by George Will in the New York Times Book Review, by biographer/historian Douglas Brinkley in the Austin American-Statesman, and by Bruce J. Ok, so I finally got my grubby paws on the GRID demo and have given it a good spanking to see what's in store for us. Firstly, the visuals are truly stunning. It's not very often that you load a game up and it lands up looking exactly like the impressive screenshots that you had seen on the net. Im not exactly sure what they have done, but I think the demo taught my 720p Bravia to display 1080p, because this is one of the sharpest and smoothest looking games I have ever seen. As some of you know this game uses the EGO engine that was used for DiRT, however the magicians at Codemasters have somehow managed to make the game look even better and run at nearly twice the frame rate that DiRT was sporting.... Not only that, but the presentation of the game is inspiring with beautiful menus, grea
Just like the rest of you knuckleheads, Team LXG has been hard at work playing the smash hit “Grand Theft Auto IV.” Well, with the exception of Paul who is still stuck in November playing Mass Effect. If you have perused the other grand websites of gaming, you will have noticed that GTA IV has been receiving 10 out of 10 or 5 out of 5. What do I think? Here it goes….Is this game good? Yes,
Ok, first of all, fuck writing in Serbian, if i’m going to get anyone to read this blog limiting it to under 100 000 potential readers is worse than digging a hole WHILE shooting myself in the foot. Also, forget about that last theme, it was good for a Serbian blog, but that old granny [...]
Well GTA IV is a hit!
Better graphics, a much improved navigation system, and a lot more vulgar language.
The graphics.
You probably already got a good taste of the graphics from all the pre-release screenshots released all over the web but, let me tell you, they live up to the hype. This version of Grand Theft Auto [...]
So, we've been here about 2 weeks. And I figured it was high time to get back to blogging. (Disclaimer: No promises here about how often I'll post at first, cause I still have boxes that need my attention, but it's getting significantly better!)A few things have stuck out to me as first impressions while acclimating to the area:1. It's super easy to find your way around here.Pretty much everywh
By now you know what Wii Fit is all about in theory. The real question on your minds is what games there are and how they work. We got a chance to test our co-ordination on a handful of the games and what follows is a summary of our first impressions. The Wii Balance Board is wireless and sits snugly on the floor in front of the TV. It operates on four batteries (which are included) and has a similar connectivity to the Wii Remote. Please note that you cannot jump on it and it has a weight limit of 150kg. The first time you use it you need to pop the Wii Fit disc in and then sync it with your Wii console. After these simple steps you are A for away and can then install the sporty new Wii Fit Channel. As mentioned in our earlier article detailing Wii Fit, the game includes over 40 different
Right off the bat I'm going to tell you that this game is fun. Mario Kart Wii feels like a bigger and better version of its sibling on the DS. More courses, more characters, more items and a new wheel peripheral to play with. Then there's the online mode. Any doubt or lack of excitement you had for this game will dissapear once you've taken part in a race online with 11 other people. The online play rocks some serious socks and will have you neglecting the Grand prix mode.I'm going to leave it at that because I want to show restraint and don't want this turning into a review (which I'll try to have up this weekend). Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to hustle some bitches online.
I just bought UbiSoft’s sequel to their hit from 2006 over the weekend and I thought I would share my first impressions. Having not played the entire game all the way through, it is not my intent to give a full review. Just my first impressions.
R.E.M.'s new album Accelerate drops April 1st, but Michael Stipe and the boys have released it for free streaming on iLike as of today. Having already heard "Supernatural Superserious" what seems like a million times, I am anxious to hear what the rest of the album holds.1. "Living Well's The Best Revenge"I loved the opening guitar riff. What a way to start the album. I know it's Michael Stipe singing, but this half-scream is really different - like if I had blindly stumbled across this song on the radio, I might say "Hmmm, this sounds a lot like R.E.M." without being sure if it actually was. 2. "Man Sized Wreath"I am really digging the bass line. This feels like classic R.E.M., but edgier. 3. "Supernatural Serious"I have listened to this song many times since its release February 11

I was lucky enough to get a few of the MAC Beauty Powders today! I'm pretty excited as they are bloody good! I got four of the eight and I'm currently wanting the rest! They are terribly good and I must say I'm impressed with these for shizzle! I highly suggest motoring to your nearest counter or freestanding store to have a lookee!I'm slightly puzzled over the "Beauty Powder" terminology and I'm thinking that's just a fancy word for blush because these are sincerely pigmented, silky, smooth, and as easily blendable as a blush so where the term "beauty powder" comes into play I'm clueless about. As I had mentioned in a previous post most of my beauty powders from MAC are either filled with shimmer or are sort of a matte highlight powder or touch up powder where as these are full blown blush
In You Stroll, looking hot in that new dress or suit with the Manolo's or Jimmy Choo shoes. You know you look good after all, it cost you a fortune. You are feeling confident due to the way you are looking and you know he wants you. Go get him girl. Does that ring true? Well maybe, maybe not. On the other hand, in you stroll, black Armani or Hugo Boss suit, Italian leather shoes, handmade shirt. You are feeling good, you are feeling successful, you are feeling confident. Yes, my friends, in this fatuous day and age we are what we wear. Now, I am not saying that we need to spend a King's ransom on the latest designer gear, fashions, style and hand crafted luxury wear from Italy or wherever. But I am suggesting that when we dress well we feel good, we believe we look good and we feel we can d
As discussed in the Launch Announcement just before PMA, the Pentax K20D is now surprisingly the highest resolution Digital SLR in its class of prosumer DSLRs. That statement doesn't really convey the real comparison since the only current camera with higher resolution than the 14.6 MP (megapixel) K20D is the $8000 Canon 1Ds III with a full-frame 21.1 MP image. The Pentax K20D has the highest resolution available in an APS-C sensor SLR. It is 20% higher resolution than the new Sony A700/Nikon D300 Sony sensor pair at 12.2 MP and almost 50% higher than the Canon 40D. Those are numbers that are hard to ignore. Those who wondered why Pentax entered into a partnership with Samsung a few years ago finally have their answer. Samsung wanted to play in the high-end sensor market with Sony and Panaso

Two thumbs up for a great MLB experience. 2K Sports has really put some great ideas and thought into how baseball should be played. Prior to arriving in Argentina, I had never heard of Mendoza, ever. However, as people in Buenos Aires came and went, one of the five questions that everyone asks everyone is “So, where have you been?”. And one of the answers that continuously came up was Mendoza- nothing specific about it, just [...]
This is going to be the post pair in an ongoing series where I will post my impressions of a city when I first get to it, what it’s like touching down/arriving in, getting into the city, and wandering about/going out for the first time in the city.
In Buenos Aires’ case, be forewarned that [...]
The first 30 seconds count most of all in job employment interviews. Most job seekers think that their job of "selling themselves "to the employment interviewer occurs when they walk in the door. Most of your work will have been done in preparation previous to the actual interview. The first 30 seconds of any interview are the core elements of getting that job - of adding, confirming and supporting your preparation for the job interview and ultimately to be successful in "getting that job". People often form major opinions about others within the 30 seconds of meeting them. For this reason the first 30 seconds of an employment interview or indeed any personal introduction will make or break you. To make it worse, once an initial impression is made, it is almost impossible to shake off. It
Today, i have seen a new comment in my inbox. Martin Schmidler has written that there are the first impressions of Windows 7 on NeoWin forum. I am excited to see this. I read the forum post. But i saw that the new version is not much different than Vista. I think Microsoft didn’t take [...]
Part of the Top Hosting Center Series - Next in seriesAs I wrote a few days ago I’ve been looking for a new website hosting company and decided to give Top Hosting Center a shot because they’re currently offering an incredible hosting deal-

Well, I signed up earlier today and overall am pretty happy. I’ve been designing (and thus hosting) websites for more than a decade now. I even operated a small web hosting company for a few years back in the mid-90s. So I’m far from a rookie when it comes to webhosts. Bear in mind that the following is a result of only a couple of hours of playing with the system. As I add more domains and do more work I’ll come back and post furt
Nikon's most recent DSLR announcements were dominated by the debut of its first full-frame model, the D3. Sporting a 12.1 Megapixel "FX-format' CMOS sensor, the new D3 made big claims over high sensitivity performance, and unlike Canon's full-frame models, it could also accommodate lenses designed for its cropped-frame bodies - albeit with a cropped frame and at a reduced resolution.Nikon fanatics the world over are understandably excited about the D3, and Camera Labs forum moderator Thomas is no exception. Self-confessed Nikon "fanboy' and passionate owner of a D80 and numerous lenses including his beloved DX 18-200mm VR, Thomas was particularly excited about checking out the new D3 for himself. So when the Nikon Solutions Expo came within 500km of his home town, we couldn't hold him back. What follows is the second part of an interview between Thomas and Camera Labs Editor Gordon Laing after the show. Part one featured Thomas' views on the D300, and now in Part two, h
In real estate we come upon people from all sorts of walks of life, from the blue collar to the white collar worker. It is extremely important for your reputation that we treat all of them with the respect that they deserve and the service you would give to Bill Gates. This did not happen to me, but it did happen to a colleague of mine. A family was looking for an agent for purchasing a new house. The people drove a beat-up car and were dressed in ragged clothing. He asked if they had a pre-qual letter and found that they were approved up to $100,000 for a loan in this market. He realized that if he sold something to them he would only get $1700 net, and really didn't put too much effort into finding them a house. Dissatisfied with his service they went to another agent. Same scenario, but the other agent treated them with respect and dignity and they bought a house from him. What the first agent didn't know was that the buyer was a multi-millionaire who was looking

Mozilla released Beta 1 of Firefox 3.0 a few days ago, so I thought it was about time I tried out the latest and greatest from the guys at Mozilla. Grab it here if you haven’t yet, but be warned, it’s only meant for testing, and shouldn’t be used if you require a stable browser.I’ve been running it at work since yesterday afternoon, and upgraded my laptop at home last night. First impressions are good… Resource Usage ImprovementsThe memory footprint has reduced immensely. Before upgrading, I had over 200 tabs open in Firefox 2.0 using around 1100MB of RAM. After upgrading to 3.0 Beta 1, the memory footprint has shrunk by half to just over 600MB. It’s important to note that these figures are after a day’s worth of usage, opening/closing tabs throughout the day, on both 2.0 and 3.0 Beta 1. My experience appears to match with Adrian Kingsley-Hughes’ over at ZDNet. Firefox’s giant memory footprint was one of my biggest bugbears, and it seems as though 3.0 is making a step
Last night I sat down and with Super Mario Galaxy and gave it a bit of a play through and have also been playing it today. My initial impressions? Super Mario Galaxy is a much better game than Super Mario 64. Hands down. There, I said it. Even at this early stage I can say that much. If feels alot more fresh, alot more fun and lively than Super Mario 64 did. Super Mario Galaxy is just such a charming game and everything feels like it's part of this living, breathing world. The way the enemies bound around. The way the collosal bosses move in a way that makes them seem agitated at the mere sight of Mario. The way the Lumar's float around and squeal and the Toad's that are littered through out the galaxy, giving the feeling that Mario isn't alone and that he wasn't the only one shot in outer space and that he is part of a bigger picture. Everything in each galaxy comes together to make the entire game world feel alive and inhabited. This game is instantly accessible. From the second
I'm no IGN or 1up reviewer, so I'm not able to get advance copies of games, sit and plough through it all day, review it with the quickness and get paid. As much as I wish I could do as such, I can't. So until I can post full on reviews of games I have completed, I'll post my first impressions of them. These may as well be reviews, because long time visitors of this blog and listeners ofmy podcasts know how I like to write shit loads and go on and on.Writing up my first impressions of games gives me a chance to rant on and share my views about those of which I've played, but haven't finished. I did something like this when I first got Final Fantasy XII, but I've decided to now do it more often.First up will be Super Mario Galaxy. I may as well review this game, because as soon as I got my first star I thought to myself "This game is a straight 10 out of 10". So look out for my first impression of this game later this evening.
Ghost Hound may have just entered the scene with 3 episodes, yet it has seriously shone in almost all aspects a great anime would excel in. What is really captivating (and confusing) is the unique way of reaching out to the viewers; it seems like deliberately putting the viewer in an interrogation room with a [...]
So far I have watched the first 4 of 25 episodes expected in the first season of the latest Gundam Series. I have been excited about this new Gundam series for months and I wrote about it in June.
Gundam Exia and it's pilot has yet to impress me
The story is very Gundam-like and revolves around a private organization calling themselves Celestial Being using the power of advanced mobile suits called Gundams in their quest to end all wars. Also in typical Gundam fashion a simple story is complicated by a huge cast of characters and the viewer sees the progression of the Gundam 00 story through these various characters.
The "Flag" Mobile Suit that wiped the shine off Exia
It's a bit too early to say if I like Gundam 00 or not, but I do look forward to each episode and I have already found my favourite suit and pilot. I have always been a fan of the big, high damage dealing Gundams like Heavy Arms instead of the pretty, agile, and flamboyant types and so far it seems that Gundam Virt
Everyday we make first impressions about people we meet. Whether it be right or wrong, everyone does it. This is especially true when we meet clients for the first time. Before you even open your mouth, the client will have determined, generally, whether or not they are going to list with you. Your presentation will show if you are organized or if you are a waste of time to them. So advice to the new professionals out there, be organized, well-dressed, smell good, and use a breath mint before you meet the client. Then blow them away with your presentation. Remember, you don't want to lose a listing because you didn't use a breath mint or forgot to floss. It is essential to be a consummate professional, otherwise there are many other agents that are more than willing to take your place.
PhotoShelter was created in 2005 as an archival solution for photographers. They provide photographers with a place to store, organize, and monetize their photos for a monthly fee. On September 18th, PhotoShelter announced the future launch of the PhotoShelter Collection and invited photographers to submit photos to the Collection.
The PhotoShelter Collection is a stock photography site that positions itself between the micro-stocks and the pro-stocks. The prices (and commissions) are set much higher than a typical micro-stock agency, while the acceptance and diversity of images is higher than the pro-stock sites. The service is free to photographers, but all images must be accepted into the Collection by the PhotoShelter editors. Once accepted, photographers have a multitude of choices on how to market and price their photos.
I applied to the PhotoShelter Collection several weeks ago, and I’ve been evaluating their site and services. Here’s my take on things thus f
ok, so I am writing this using my new tablet the first thing I notice is that it handles just bit differently than I imagined. Getting character recognition to work correctly was fun. I hear it is much easier in vista, but I am using XP - oh the joy!
Okay, back to typing. The sketch at the left was created in about 30 seconds, so all is not lost. Created in Paint Shop Pro.
I am going to have to play with a few programs to find what works for me though. SmoothDraw3 seems to be great little program for use with the tablet.
All in all, I think I need to get used to using it before I can give a decent review of the tablet.
Right now, I am still in the mode of "this might be taking more time than it’s worth".
I’m not going to unplug it though.
It did come with a mouse.
Below is the best digital signature that I’ve ever pulled off.

Sketchbook’s homepage has a preview video up, though it’s quite hard to find (it’s a white rectangular icon with black text near the top of the page) It wouldn’t play at the correct speed on my computer (>_<) but I still managed to enjoy it and realize some things:

I have read some other fans views regarding the home match with Fulham on other blog sites and some I agree with and some I do not understand at all! Of course, the whole stadium were stunned into silence in the first minute by Lehmann's terrible miskick right into the path of David Healey who scored probably one of the easiest goals of his career!
I thought Arsenal's defence seem to pass back the ball to their keepers more than any other premiership defence - a tactic which I am not really in favour of and which only works if the goalkeeper and his defenders are always on the same wavelength - this time the goalkeeper was obviously on another planet! Unfortunately, our defenders continued with this strategy right through the match tempting another disaster!
Like most of the fans in the stadium (and after the usual very late substitutions from Wenger), I had more or less given up hope of us even snatching a draw when the countdown sho
Mountains rise around us, blue in the haze, their sheer rock walls laced with waterfalls. At last, rounding the shoulder of Parnassos, we see the ruins of a little round temple to the left, far below on the olive-clad slope, which Anna our guide identifies as the Temple of Athena Pronaios. Just past it the road bends left sharply, following a fold in the mountainside; to the right through dark trees we see the sacred spring where pilgrims once purified themselves. Past that, the sanctuary of Apollo mounts Parnassos' steep heights with grayish-pink columns peeping through dark cypress.(Read more...)Also in This Section:Maps of Delphi
