Cherry Walk, la passeggiata dei ciliegi nell'orto botanico di Brooklyn è a quanto sembra uno spettacolo che i simpatici newyorkesi amano godersi ogni anno. Il web manager del giardino ha scattato una foto ogni tre minuti per nove giorni dal 18 al 26 aprile di quest'anno e dalla sequenza ha creato un video composto da più di 3000 fotogrammi, il risultato è delizioso :) In basso il video su YouTube, qui una versione ad alta risoluzione. La musica è di Jon Solo I video basati sul time-lapse sono molto diffusi sul web, ad esempio avevo già segnalato quasi due anni fa Everyday, creato dal fotografo newyorkese Noah Kalina che si è scattato una foto al giorno per 6 anni. Rosemarie Fiore est une artiste new-yorkaise qui a une approche graphique des sujets qu'elle traite : les objets laissent une trace dans le temps que Rosemarie tente de capturer. Elle a par exemple photographié des écrans de jeux video des années 80 en pause B, laissant apparaitre des diagrammes complexes dûs aux mouvements des formes sur l'écran. Dans un autre projet elle fait exploser des feux d'artifices sur des grands formats de papier, où des explosions de couleurs saturées sont mêlées à des compositions abstraites. Pour une exposition elle a attaché un pistolet à peinture à un manège de parc d'attraction pour en faire apparaitre les mouvements sur des grandes toiles.
