Remember the trivial McCain campaign ad ridiculing Barack Obama as a celebrity like Paris Hilton and Britney Spears? Well, they got it coming with this spoof of a Paris Hilton ad from Funny or Die in a “presidential bid” of a celebrity taking on the challenge…… hilarious indeed.

(CSTV U-WIRE) ORONO, Maine — The University of Maine women’s ice hockey team made an electrifying comeback on Sunday afternoon against Providence College and salvaged their America East conference opener in a 2-2 tie. The internet today is a lot like the speakeasy’s of the past. It was once illegal to drink alcohol but everybody wanted to do it so they went to the speakeasy’s to get their fill. The ban on alcohol made the average citizen into a criminal. The copyright laws today do much the same thing, people are going to the internet to get their fill of what they want. They are going to continue to do it because there is no reasonable alternative. With no alternatives the laws and corporations are turning average citizens into criminals. Unfortunately for us things are like they used to be, the government was able to admit they were wrong. It may have taken them awhile to realize they were wrong but they could admit to it. Now the government can’t do that, even when most of their citizens tell them so.

Lauren Conrad isn’t like Heidi Montag: she doesn’t just take everything lying down. As The Hills feud gets really serious, our girl LC and Audrina Patridge called into the same Philadelphia radio station that interviewed Montag and the anti-Christ Spencer Pratt this week. The sweet gals fired back at the trash-talking couple. As The Hollywood Gossip and Us Magazine previously reported, Montag and Pratt called into Q102 FM on Monday. During the interview Pratt called Conrad a “stupid girl,” a “douche” and a “psycho.” Heidi said she “never could be friends with some lowlife like that,” which we’re pretty sure is akin to Britney Spears accusing someone else of being a train wreck. Conrad’s classy response? “What are you gonna do? It could be a lot worse,” she told the radio hosts this afternoon. “It could be someone I actually care about saying those things.” LC simply added that she doesn’t “have that high of expectations for them.” Granted, thi
We were just introduced the the Hide-A-Pod, which is a Zune like case that will protect your iPod from anyone who may be looking to snatch it from your hands. Now in response to the Hide-A-Pod Zune case we have what would appear to be a Zune fan striking back with another spoof product. This one will also protect your iPod or iPhone against theft but with just a bit of a twist. With Hideapod Gel you will allow you to “take your iPod and stick it where the sun don’t shine”.
Me being on the iPod side would rather prefer to go with the Hide-A-Pod Zune case as opposed to the Gel, but I suppose the gel would be more or a deterrent against theft.
