One of my favourite bloggers has a Fiction Friday segment on her blog. I've wanted to delve back into writing fiction for quite some time now, so I'm being a blatant copy-cat. Not only am I copying her idea, I'm copying my first piece from one that I wrote, oh, about nine years ago. I've tweaked it a bit, and plan to continue the story now that I finally have a clearer idea as to where it's headed. Either enjoy it, grimace over it, or skip it. Ok, I finally finished the fic. It's been a long, busy week so I didn't get anything written until yesterday. Anyway, here's the list of the items to be included:

I realised that it's been a while, since last November to be exact, that I've even attempted to write something other than the self-centred drivel that usually occupies this space. So to actually give myself a push, because I'm a great big procrastinating underachiever who lacks the drive and ambition, I'd like to try some thing new that involves everyone who reads this blog.
